Opinion. I don't expect Ireland to survive, and Philbin either unless he posts a winning record. Theres too much headache associated with his name at this point, especially since the golf incident has come out. If Philbin does survive this season, he's going to have to repeat it next year under the evaluation of a new GM. Sucks to be Coach Joe, but that oversight is going to cost him if he doesn't win.
I don't think either would have survived if they would have cut Incognito and Martin before this happened for unknown reasons. Catch 22.. I think Philbin will be fine though.
Well itll be up to the new GM, if he wants to keep Philbin he will, but really I don't see anyone coming into this job and keeping the staff. I'd be shocked if anyone from this front office or coaching staff is still here. Honestly I think they'd have to win the Superbowl to stick around.
