15. Dolphins: Christian Ponder, quarterback, Florida State. The Fins seem to swing and miss on second-round quarterbacks every offseason, so it’s time to get serious. Ponder would be an upgrade over Chad Henne in terms of accuracy, smarts, athleticism, consistency, and touch. I disagree with him taking over as a starter at some point in year one, unless Miami wants to regress in the process. Even Bradford's rookie year was no better than Henne last year. I seriously doubt Ponder can do something that Bradford can't.
I don't think we are going anywhere with Henne anyway, so I would be comfortable with a rookie playing.
