While I didn't think signing Wayne ahead of Manning was an option before, it now seems as if it is.

If so, I would sign him as soon as FA begins. Never know, it may help sway Peyton. Then again, do we really want Peyton if we're not his number one choice? Of course we do. That was a silly question.

I think it would be a great move if Peyton Manning decided to go to then Miami Dolphins! He'll be surrounded by good whether and I'm sure every Dolphin fan would be happy and excited for him to come to the Dolphins.

My main concern is I don't know if he will come to the Dolphins due to all the speculation that has been occurring. It would be an ideal choice for him to come to the Dolphins. But we shall see. If he doesn't do anything right, he should come to the Dolphins and make every Dolphins fan proud.

Interesting that Denver, Zona, and TN get facility visits. Miami has to go to Indy to meet with him.

Exactly. What if he had prior engagements? The guy is very busy. Charities, TV commmercials, etc. Maybe he told the Dolphins he could visit Miami on such and such day and Ireland said, "We'll come to you!" In order to stay fresh in his mind?

There are just way too many things that could be happening right now to be concrete on one thing. The media knows not much more than we do. (Anyone remember the Harbaugh fiasco? Remember how it was a "done deal" that he'd be in Miami coaching last seasons?)

FWIW: Jeff Darlington just reported on NFL Network that one of his sources said "Miami is absolutely not out of it."

 

It stated that PM has not ruled out Arizona, Denver, Miami, or the Titans. He also has not ruled out more meetings with other teams. He has not thrown for any team yet but will throw to a team he was serious about going to (presumably on a future visit). On a side not they are going crazy here in Tennesse. Mr wife says they even broke into DR PHIL with breaking news to show him arriving! I just wish he would pick a team. He is actually hurting the team he is eventually going to by them holding money and player aquisitions in hope of getting him.

BTW Mods, Any way to change the Fist Pumps to something else? I know it involves downtime and all but now that he's a Jet it just seems wrong that its a form of praise around here. I mean maybe it will replace the Toes Sucked feature at Gang Green but it just doesn't work around here.

 

The Toes Sucked feature at GangGreen is the only thing a group of Jets fans has ever done right.
