If we accept the fact that Ireland is not a good GM then who was the last "Good" GM that the Dolphins had? Finding a good GM is as big of a risk as it is finding a good player outside of the first round in the draft. Ireland may not be a great GM, but we could certainly do worse as shown by the Dolphins past history. I am not crazy about Ireland but I don't see anyone out there right now who would be available to come in and meet all of the criteria fans are looking for.
