And who can blame him And I am sure Tom Brady would like to see JT on his teams bench when the Pats are on offense. It doesnt take a genius to deduce that Penny would hope that JT is signed by the Phins or by a team outside the division . http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-7-29/Pennington-wary-of-Taylor-s-return-to-AFC-East.html
I just don't know that JT has enough left in the tank to be that effective anymore. I'd rather have a younger guy come in right now and possibly get a decent back-up for a few years rather than a guy who is probably going to retire next year.
The worst part isn't going to be theoretical sacks, it would be watching Taylor get rag-dolled by Jake Long, when he shouldn't be in that uniform. Shades of Tony Bocelli
JT is a non-factor for us, he may still be able to play at a decent level, but his heart is only in it for the money. He won't ever be the guy who played for us again. I hope he doesn't go to the Pats, but if he does, he becomes my enemy. I think he was so in love with himself after Dancing w/the Stars, football became strictly his fallback. Then the reality of Hollywood set in and now he suddenly has a desire to play football? No thanks, not on this team.
Sounds smart to me. Even though JT didn't seem to be as dangerous last year as he was previously, it would be stupid for someone to call him out and give him an incentive to prove whoever did so wrong. Better to let potentially sleeping dogs lie.
