DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said, "We've already done this whole dog and pony show."

What he was referring to at his Wednesday news conference was Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington facing his former team, the New York Jets. Sparano's premise is that Sunday won't be that special for Pennington because the teams already met in the season opener at Dolphin Stadium.

"As far as the emotional part of that, that happened the first game, and I'm glad that it did happen in the first game," Pennington said. "So now it's strictly business, trying to win a football game."

I'm sure Pennington believes in his heart he'll be able to compartmentalize his emotions on Sunday. His most impressive traits are cranial -- intelligence, decisiveness, calmness.
