Great game, it was sloppy but PEnn St proved their the best in the Big Ten. Maybin was a monster that TO was the game changer.
Did you see them replay that come back against Wisconsin? On that run, the OS Left Tackle completely MAULED a guy to seal the corner....
No need to be an *******. I posted that after it happened of course if I had your awesome ability to see the future I wouldn't have typed it.
:rollseye: Your kidding me right? The defender shifted his body the Lineman had him sealed its just the defender shifted. Take your obvious Buckeye hate elsewhere.
Well don't call the game with a whole half a quarter left in a close game. I was just messing with you anyway.
Good game by both teams. It was a joy to watch. Pryor has to be the fastest slow-motion player lol, I have no clue if that makes sense. Clark is one strong mofo. Maybin is a beast. Heyward had a nice hit earlier in the game. I like him a lot.
Are you kidding me? I typed wide right thats a tough loss meaning wow they missed out on 3 points tough loss.
For the record, go to the OS thread and review. I am actually very neutral to the Buckeyes, and it entirely depends on whom they are playing for me to take sides. In this contest, I love Jo-pah and support him to no end. To me he is ALL that is still right with College sports. I also have quite a bit of respect for Tressel as I think he does the right things for the right reasons. All I am saying is I watched (For the first time) that Left Tackle absolutely MAULED his man and it sealed the corner....and after watching what Pete called out again and again tonight, there is ZERO doubt your Right Tackle once again got away with a very blatent Mauling....
I agree Browning should have been called for Holding 4-5 times but don't bring up a game played what 3 weeks ago. I'm sure Penn St didn't hold either? They let both sides get away with holding. it was much more noticeable because Maybin is a monster.
And he is a RS(so). I want him to come out so we can take him and make him an OLB. He only has 4% body fat, so he is only like 245, lol.
Lol, he's a ridiculous talent. He needs to learn to shed blocks better and develop more pass-rushing moves IMO. Get lower and explode off the line more consistently. He says he's at 250 right now and Paterno asked him to gain weight to about 255-260, which I would agree with. The guy is muscle from head to toe like John Randle and I'm not saying its a bad thing. EDIT: What are the chances he comes out?
Probably not very good. He will at least stay for one more year I bet. But who knows, if they win the NC and JoePa retires, he may come out. I will say that I have never seen him give up on a play, and I see him try and use other moves (they just tend to not work). Still, he has all the tools to be a monster.
Ah ok, thanks man. Oh, I absolutely agree that he has all the tools to be a monster and I didn't see him give up once on a play tonight. I'm just saying he needs to work on a few things but I definitely think he can be a good one in the NFL. He's got a lot of potential.
I think he would be anywhere between a top ten-fifteen pick to a late first rounder. Basically a first rounder. If a guy like Brian Orakpo of Texas is considered a first rounder and Gholston of last year was a first round pick based on potential then I think Maybin has to be in there. Maybin is further along than Gholston while he has a better motor and more explosiveness than Orakpo in my opinion.
