Thought this was a good read. Hopefully it shows...man I need a computer. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/2011/09/05/miami-dolphins-talking-points-new-england-patriots-wont-have-an-easy-time-preparing-for-dolphins-new-offense/
Let's not forget a less talented Brian Daboll offense hung 34 on the Pats last year when Cleveland handed them one of their only 2 losses on the season.
I thought it was interesting that it said not to expect all the roster churning we saw last year. "But don’t expect a ton of moves like last year, when the Dolphins led the league in transactions in the first month of the season. The constant churning hurt the special teams units, who allowed two blocked punts, a blocked field goal and three return touchdowns." That was one of my complaints last season so I'd be glad to see them do that a bit less.
Well maybe we're not going to make as many moves as last year, but we have already started....releasing Berger and Edds and adding Rosario and Cook. Adding Yeatman, cutting Polite...I haven't seen this magical time of peace at the bottom of the roster coming. Not only that, Volin didn't exactly elaborate on why he said that ?? Or did I miss something ??
You really buy that line of crap? Listen I know it's game one and were all hyped up and thinking were going to light the world on fire! Great I love it honestly, however to think that Bill and the boys are not sleeping because bad *** Brian Doball is trying to patchwork a new system into this team, with a QB who no one is sure is a real starter in this league, suspect TE, and All kinds of issues on the OLine than brother I got some land just east of of Long Island Id like to sell you. This is just press filler and Fanboy talk. Bradly and co have played in Superbowls, AFC championships and big games week after week. Yes we can win this and we just might, but ain't no one scared of us. We haven't earned it. I have a bad feeling about week one..
Maybe more starters on punt and kick coverage? Those two units were the biggest STs negative last year. I saw Davis on punt coverage and Clemons have been the up back on the punt team all preseason.
