to be underestimated is a good thing going into the season & the Dolphins are definitely getting their share of disrespect by the pundits & football aficionados as we move through the preseason games my prediction: Dolphins win the AFC-East onward & upward in post season Patriots much over-rated, slip to an 8-8 mediocre 1213 year I believe Brady will not finish out the season, reason: holding on to the ball too long because of a lack of quality receivers & a very pedestrian running game. Tom doesn't like it when the game gets in his face & it will this year... especially when they play Miami. we are witnessing the inevitable & timely deterioration of the team of the decade as we witness the rise of the new power to be reckoned with in AFC competition. the NFL has a rising contender, the Miami Dolphins! .
@SportsCenter: THIS JUST IN: Pats QB Tom Brady has left practice after consultation with team's head trainer after an apparent knee injury. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Made a thread for it... Seemed worthy. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/08/14/brady-leaves-practice-looking-at-knee/ Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Brady is skating thin ice on this 1213 offense... just a matter of time before breaks & takes him down with it.
Brady doesn't hold onto the ball, you ever watch him play? He either gets rid of it or starts his ghost moves because when the clock goes off in his head, he loses it...
Definitely not rooting for injuries but it was worth posting the news in this thread. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Thats good and I wasn't singling you out....I just find it sad that there are adult men rooting for injuries. You are right though it is newsworthy for sure.
Winning is a hell of a lot more fun when you beat the "best", being happy for injuries is childish. I agree DJ
1) way off base.... didn't know about his injury today when I posted the thread 2) a prediction is not wishful thinking, it is what I think is probable after examining the circumstances of the Patriots in 2013 3) the jist of it for the simple minded: the Patriots have entered their decline as the Dolphins emerge from obscurity to begin their ascent the times have changed...
1) how long do you honestly think he'll be able to to unload the ball to nowhere? 2) I don't know about a clock but I bet plenty of bells will be going off in his head this year. this is the year of redemption for our franchise & the beginning of the end for them
I didn't mean you in particular, there are certain people who have openly cheered about it since it happened and hoping it is season ending. I realize you started the thread beforeheand. I also agree the Patriots are declining and the Dolphins are ascending and that is fantastic.
their running game is not pedestrian, it's actually very good. as hopeful as we are, we likely will have the 3rd best rushing attack in the AFC East behind Buffalo and New England
That and the Pats should have a very good running game. If Brady doesn't finish the season it won't be for any of the reasons cited by the OP.
