i absolutely love hearing about the late round picks, and the UDFAs. Everytime one of them makes it, it makes my day. It's usually the team with the most surprise talents that goes the furthest. But its usually not a surprise to the smart evaluators like Parcells. He let's it be known that its to be expected. Is it any wonder that his guys play so hard for him. Even the coaching staff will reap the benefits of having Parcells in town. They're all gonna be working as best they can, or they're gone. I spent the longest years of my life about 40 minutes from Toledo. It's nice hearing about the homegrown boys of northwest Ohio. Big Ben reps NWO, hopefully Jalen Parmesan can do the same.
Sure is some great news considering Ronnie Browns durability and Ricky Williams past behavior might be an issue, and I say (might) be an issue. Been a long, long time since we had three good backs together, Czonka, Kiick and Morris.
If you want homegrown, Fred Davis (rookie TE from USC for Redskins) went to HS at Rogers I believe (definitely in Toledo though).
This is great news...How long has it been since a late round or UDFA pick made a difference for this team ??? Can you say Zach Thomas ??? That may be a little too much to hope for, but to see guys in this position succeed and actually help out the team is something we haven't seen in many, many years...
