I don't think that will be the case at all, we will have a pretty active offseason and that is always interesting....several trades in the works, the #1 overall pick which means the BCS game will be worth watching just to see Dorsey and Gholston and then we have the Combines to look at...should be fun..

Quick question, it's 2:00 am on Christmas Eve, here we are obsessing about the Fins, how many folks think Cam or even some of his staff is up at this hour of the night reviewing game films of the Bengals?

And Lemon may be the least worst option...that is the state of the Qb in the Nfl at the moment, let's not forget that Joey Harrington and Culpepper both ended up starting for their new teams...and playing just as bad there, unless of course, they played us this season..

And Rookies never make mistakes. You put a guy who is rookie in the worst offense in the NFL and give him zero protection and the all the offensive woes are his fault. Some people will never get it. It's the same old "Ronnie Brown" argument. We had a divided camp half says he doesn't have the "IT" factor. Then you get him some decent blocking and miraculously he has "IT". You have to put a guy in situation where he can have success. We wanted to see somethng special out of Beck so bad we egnored the fact this team has zero talent on offense. Our run blocking has been pretty good at times but we haven't protected our qb's at all. Get over it. Right now BECK isn't the problem. He will get his shot to prove himself whether or not you like it.

.... The point is your hating on Lemon when he has no weapons.... Lemon has extended plays with none of his receivers getting open.... Beck just gets sacked and just looks absolutley awful... Beck looks scared out there...

Lemon isn't bad but he's already been in the league for 4 years. He upside is what you see. I don't dislike Lemon he does give us the best chance to win. With our lack of protection you better be able to run. The problem is he doesn't run when he should and does when he shouldn't. During the PAts game he could of ran in for tds twice. He's too indecisive. I honestly don't know what Beck brings, and neither does anyone else here. To say other wise only proves how little you know about this game.

Romo was the same way... What's your point??? Romo wasnt use to it last year but he also had weapons and when he moves around he finds his receivers getting open... Good Receivers do that... The reason why Lemon doesnt run is because he's like Romo he's looking to make the big play he wants to find an open receiver.... You know absolutley nothing on the game Beck sucks and you keep defending him

The argument that "Beck is bad so Lemon is good" is a false one, Lemon's problem is he is not accurate..at all...he can throw better on the run then in the pocket, a function of his athleticism, as a pocket passer though...Cleo is just too scattershot, he almost got Dave Martin killed with high throws Sunday.

Lemon also is not very experienced, I really do think people need to keep that in mind, he has started maybe 8 games and he has all of the inconsistencies of a young QB.

He will all offseason and preseason to do that. We don't know right now. There are essentail things a young qb must have to lean on to have success. A good running attack and a good te. Injuries made impossible for us. Cam threw him to he wolves but he had no choice. Parcells knows what he's doing. I understand this game very well but I think we can all agree Parcells is by far the best authority when it comes to giving Beck the proper evaluation. All I can say "GO FINS". Let's win our last game.

Vince Young was a rookie and played better and Lemon barely has even played ever thought of that??? I never said Beck wont be the future I just said he's not as good as Lemon and you cant defend someone who is playing like crap whether he just came into the game or not he's still crap... He so far has been the worst rookie to start this year...

Read all my post I never said Beck wont be great I'm just saying time doesnt mean he's going to be as great as you want him to be.... Time doesnt mean your going to get a Dan Marino.... What if Beck keeps on playing bad???? what then.... Problem is both last year and this year the rookies have actually been doing better then Beck and look alot better and more confident Beck just looks scared.

McNabb went to 4 straight NFC championship games, losing three of them, the tag "Can't win the big one" would seem to fit on him as well as it did Danny White for the Cowboys in the early 80's.

Vince Young has been in the NFL what, 2 years? The Titans are on the brink of going to the playoffs, if he leads them to a win against the Colts they are in, so he has that coveted chance to prove himself out on the field.

Now an apples to apples comparision between Lemon and Beck and there is no comparison, Lemon is a far better QB, hands down, Beck is green green green, Lemon at least can move around, and has shown the big arm, and he can read a Blitz coming much faster then Beck can.

Lemon has started one game in 2006, and 6 games or so this year, he has shown more then Beck has, but that is not much of a comparison as the team is so beat down right now.

I've looked at the FA Qb list, it is not impressive..at all..Shaun Hill? Chris Redmond? Daunte Culpepper?

not sure we can get 5 picks, but im on board with you on trading down. would be nice if we could swap picks with a team like detroit who badly needs a rb and pick up more picls along the way

Depends, Volek may want starter money himself, I don't know if that would be an upgrade over Lemon?

Guy I like is the Jets third string Qb, Tuisasospau, started for the Raiders, been in the league awhile, should be reasonably priced Mobile as well.

But that would still leave us a First String Qb short, and that is why I can see Cleo returning next year, we have payed him to start 7 games for us, he has improved a bit, and sadly, there may not be anyone else out there for us to sign and bring in....
