DJ, who did you think I was going to take? :)
Who's your rook and bishop for the first round?

IMHO, I would put Nick's overall team impact just a tad higher than Sintim's. If we could transition Sintim to MLB successfully to give us added QB pressure from up the middle, then that would be a tougher call for me.

I go Connor bc he brings so much more to the table than just a pass rusher. ;) I could see Sintim as an every down starter, but how much better will he be than Roth on 1st and 2nd down. What extra aspect does he bring on these downs over Roth? If an oLB is potentially similar to Roth in 1st and 2nd /short yardage....then what's the point of spending a 1st rounder on a guy who might only only be a better pass rusher? If that's the case, I'd rather just draft a top situational pass rusher like Victor Butler later on to replace Roth on passing downs. After all, you could probably argue that Victor will be equally as effective in passing downs as any Hybrid in the draft.

DJ....question: if Wake shines as a pass rusher, do we plug him in on the right as Joey's heir despite Wake's great athleticism?

If so, how would that change who we're targeting?
Would that make Connor the best fit on the left? And if so, do you think it would maximize his potential when he can be positioned to constantly see/play the QB's eyes?

Man...you ain't kiddin! It's enough to make the old lady jealous...if she actually knew who he was. Hahaha
You know what I see when I see Connor? I see Zach Thomas....but only taller, faster, and more athletic. :D and it just makes me anxious as hell to hope to see him in aqua and orange just so I can watch him play every game of the season! Well that, and helping us win a SB!

Who's your guy over the years who just makes the hair on your arms stand up when watching him play bc you know he's going to be phenominal? And not just from talent/athleticism but from the whole intense package. :headscratch:

i hope Pasqualoni is trying to get Roth, Porter, Wake, Crowder on the field at the same time. new schemes to get roth at inside linebacker, Plans to get some pressure from up the middle.

The thing i hope for if Connor was selected, is that hes just so good he takes roth's job altogether, same with any of our favorite linebackers {cushing, english}, were caught in a little bit of a pickel cause all our guys are outside players, and we need an upgrade over akin...

What better way to use connors eyes and instincts then to play him at insidebacker,he looks to have the ability to play inside. he reads and reacts so well, maybe he could find a home there, a big Zach Thomas is exactly what this team needs {you called that one}...if he could do that, i think i would take him over english.
