The trick for me would be that it requires healthy bone density, and I'm not sure I have that after thirty-coughcough years of not walking. Still ... wow.
Yea wow. I see it requires crutch use, but even still, that brings it one step closer to being able to walk again. I can't imagine what my Grandfather would give for a chance to not have to use his wheelchair all the time (he has been in it since I was born, probably longer than that, and can only get out for a little bit and even then he needs some help to make sure he doesn't fall).
I have to wonder if the body wouldn't begin reversing that if you spent enought time upright Steve. In zero g's the body dumps calcium quickly, but that reverses once gravity is restored.
