there going to have to no way you can throw a rookie out their with an oline like this he is going to get killed
I have been saying all along that the problem with this team is a lack of talent. That falls on Ireland. Parcells and Sparano are no longer around to take all the blame while Ireland got a free pass from the owner. Perhaps Ross is finally starting to see who the REAL problem was in the first place. Hopefully this is Ireland's last year of providing the fans of the Dolphins with inferior talent .
This team is not worth watching. Definitely not worth spending money on. See you all when we have rebuilt into something competitive.
What's with all the attacks on Martin? When did he become a top RT prospect? Where was the proof he could handle the right side of the line? He is what he is. A Left Tackle. Irish drafted him for leverage on Jake. Yup, thinking about 2013 before this season. I think the anger for Martin is misdirected. It's gonna be a long season folks.
i will still hold my judgement till next week until they have a gameplan in place, doesnt help that we play the falcons though
Players I've been impressed with in the 1st half: 1) Nolan Carroll - good coverage on a few plays. Had a terrific solo tackle on Mike Tolbert, and did another nice job against a run to the outside. 2) Ryan Tannehill - I think he rushed some throws, but he was under a lot of pressure. Impressive arm, and led a nice drive. 3) Vontae Davis - other than the dust-up with Steve Smith, played pretty well. 4) Koa Misi - made a great open tackle near the goaline against DeAngelo Williams. Players I was unimpressed with in the 1st half: 1) Jimmy Wilson - bad read on the TD as he didn't fill. I also notice he got burned twice on inside slants. Got pinned badly on the inside on a toss play playing the nickel CB spot. 2) The O-line - Jake Long and Mike Pouncey seemed fine. Richie and Artis Hicks both had some BAD plays. Jonathan Martin had a rough night against Charles Johnson, but Lydon Murtha didn't do anything to justify playing over him. 3) Jonathan Martin - piling on here, but he was just a step slow all night in run-blocking and pass-pro.
