Just read that. He will play though I'd assume. However, if the hip is really bothering him he may not be as effective.
We started the week as 3 point underdogs, then on Tues-Wed it drops to 1.5. Looks like Vegas is ahead of the curve, as usual. I should took the three points when I had the chance FML.
He hasn't been effective anyway. This is a simple game defensively - win the trench war and we should win this game barring a ST meltdown or some other freak thing. Palmer under pressure gets panicky and makes really bad throws, and if we can pressure him while limiting Benson their offense will be terrible. A very winnable game, and one we need to come away with.
I agree. My friend who is a huge Bengals fan was telling me that Palmer's fundamentals and mechanics go right out the door whenever the defense gets anywhere near his knees. Ever since the injury in '06.
Clearly not the same QB since then - his slide has been shocking really. The guy has been truly awful this year. While I am happy for our prospects, it kinda sucks to see an injury take out a guy who had been near the top of the heap prior.
Don't worry. They have a clone of him as a third string. They try to use him so no one gets wise but if they have to, his clone'll play.
