I can't see Bengals having a top three pick. Every team in the "just missed it" category goes to the playoffs imo. Kind of a surprise pick with Jenkins there.
They won't be that bad on offense and defense imo. They got some good young guys on defense and on offense, they still have Carson Palmer and the two receivers. They won, what seven games last year? With a abysmal defense for the first 12 or so weeks and Palmer throwing interceptions all day. They're defense will be improved I think, even though they struggled in the last pre-season game. They have Antwan Odom to rush the passer, not all that great but still a good rusher, they still have Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph who came on last year and at the Safety spot, they have Chinedum Ndukwe, whose a good player. On offense, they still have the same core and not to mention, they have re-acquired Chris Henry to play the slot. The running game has some questions though. EDIT: I think the Broncos should be higher. The only thing high in the mile high city is their draft pick in '09
Lol totally agree with that. The thing that I question most is your love of SanFrancisco lol, they were absolutely terrible last year. Willis is a star to be sure, but I dont see that offense getting any better, and dont think the D will improve significantly. Also, you seem to think the Falcons will have a good year, but I just dont see the talent. Think we at least will end up better than them Pitt is a bold choice for AFC champs to be sure, but a good one.
I think in a weak division San Fran only makes due to winning the division. I believe Willis will make that whole defense better. I believe Gore breaks out this year. Perhaps their this years Cleveland Browns? Falcons will be moderately better, I probably should have moved them up some but they have a decent offense. All of it rides on Ryan, they got Nice Backs and Receivers. You could swap us with the Falcons if you want :P Pitt makes it that far because they take a page out of the Giants blueprint. Harrison will have a Roidman type year when Merriman won DPotY.
You have a lot of confidence in the 9ers. I like their team but their QB situation keeps that team from having a winning season.
Actually I could totally switch it up, do I think any of this will happen as I predict? Hell no. This is mainly for fun
Eh im not sold on the Jags as many seem to be. Their DE passrush spot is somewhat unsettled till Harvey or their other draftee (forget his name) prove themselves. Stroud being gone will hurt. And as great as Garrards year was, Im always wary of QBs who have a single wonder year. If he starts out great again I think the Jags are a contender, if not .... well they will be vulnerable The Jets are a huge mystery, they could be great, they could be terrible, who the hell knows lol. I still dont see the Niners doing much. How much more can Willis do than he did last year? Didnt he lead the league in tackles? That offense is just a huge mess overall. Weak division possibly, but not that weak. I wasnt disagreeing with the Pitt pick btw, just saying it was bold Personally, im stumped as to who Id pick. Im thinking Dallas and Indy myself but so many questions!
