    GM JMH finally speaks

"Well we certainly are not as active as others, we have not shied away from dealing when we believe it made us better.

When you have a talented team you have to be cautious in your approach so as not to tear up the fabric of the team, we are being cautious and conscientious while still looking to improve.

We feel like we did that, adding Rubin and Sheard sign upgrades our d-line and helps Mathews in getting after the qb. along with BJ we cna run our traditional 3-4 while mixing in some 4-3 looks that Trg likes to run. We are certainly looking to add an OLB oppposite Clay but options exist and we will be smart about it.

we also added Knowshon Moreno and John Clay to our backfield which we feel that along with Starks sign upgrades our rushing attack. Knowshon will benefit from not having the pressure of being thee guy and the expectations of being a high pick and will be more explosive as a result, the change of scenery will do him good. As for Clay, we are excited to bring the Wisconson rb back home where he belongs. He will add the power game to our attack that will help us sign.

unfortunately we had to say goodbye to some great packers, for now anyway. cap decisions are always hard and we had to travel down the only venue we had to gain cap relief. With that we said goodbye to Donald Driver and Chad Clifton with much regret. We thank them and they will always have a place in the Packer family.

We also trade Jordy Nelson and Jarius Wynn to obtain Rubin and Sheard, and a promising db in Sam shields to get Clay. It hurt trading such talent. But in the end we had to make sacrifices to upgrade inareas we felt hurt our run for another champ. and champ is what we are about, not playoffs, championships.

we arent done, just started but it is a very good start

What will you do with the disgruntled AJ Hawk who in a recent interview with S.I. called the new GM of the Pack "incompetent, and foolish"?

Not sure your team could function with a locker room cancer like that.

    From Packers PR Dept:

GM JMH spoke with AJ and was assured that this was a complete fabrication by a certain GM in attempt to pry AJ from the Packer family.

GM JMH assured us that AJ is completely happy with GB and looks forward to a long career as a cheesehead.

JMH also informed Commissioner Goddell and NFL league Pres GIK of this apparant tampering with Packers players and it wont be tolerated or dismised
