http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=738448 If Brett Favre is keeping hope alive of a retirement comeback, at least one former teammate said the Packers weren't holding their collective breath. "I'm sure he loves playing, (but) he's made his decision and we as a football team are ready to move forward," right tackle Mark Tauscher said Thursday night at the Lee Remmel Sports Awards Banquet. "We're not going to worry about all those speculations. We respect Brett. He was a great teammate. But this is Aaron Rodgers' team right now." Twice in recent interviews, Favre left the door open for a possible return to the Packers. The latest was in an interview published Tuesday by the Gulfport (Miss.) Sun-Herald in which Favre said he would be tempted to return if Rodgers suffered an injury.
This must make Aaron Rogers feel pretty good, at least some of his teammates have his back. With all this stuff Favre keeps creating hype in the media about maybe coming back it seems that nobody else has Rogers' back, thats got to be a pretty unsettling feeling. Nice to hear his teammates sticking up for him though
