I’d hate to buck the trend and discuss anything positive but I’m excited to see our defense develop this year. We’ve got a young, talented group. There are still a couple holes but the pieces are in place to have a dominating defense in the next year or two if they can find a DE/OLB/pass rusher. Flores is a defensive guy and this has to be a big part of the plan to build a winner. I’m gonna assume they know what they’re doing on this side of the call in spite of what’s going on with our offense. Really interested to see how they utilize Minkah, Wilkins development and see some of the athleticism of our young LBers.
They looked good in the preseason..kept things in front of them, bracketing zones, swarming to the ball..
