I don't think that's much of a "wild, early" prediction. Egnew hasn't shown anything for two years. If he isn't markedly better than Hoskins in pre-season, with pads on, there's no reason to keep him.
I actually think Thomas will stick on the roster due to his ability to catch and play in space. It's probably the best part of his game and it sounds like this offense will take advantage of it. Thigpen is the RB on the outs
Only think that's important from this stuff is Misi is still in the middle and looks good, finnegan on the outside and looks good, Dallas at guard and looks good, J James on the right and hasn't moved..the rest is just installation, there is no pads or contact, installation is what it's all about.
