OK, first this isnt a prediction thread. But...if you take a look at our schedule for the foreseeable future...I think we have their is some potential to put together some wins and build confidence in this team.

Keep in mind a few things....yes we got trounced by Houston, but, most of the scoring was during that stretch of turnovers. According to Coach Philbin the Titans did not score on us straight up, all scoring was done after a turnover.

    Looking at our schedule....

Oakland @ Miami - Winnable.....see no reason why we can not win this game.

NY Jets @ Miami - Winnable....I dont care what the Jets did to Buffalo...

@ Arinzona - Winnable.....Arizona is not a very good team right now...

@ Cinci - Winnable....Cinci has some good pieces, but they arent Houston

    St Louis Rams - Winnable....

@ Jets .... First game I would say....we might be hard pressed to win

    @ Colts...Winnable

Clearly....our schedule plays out well for us...to possibly get some momentum going. I think confidence....is key with these young guys....so....theres alot of hope on the horizon!!

Of the seven games you listed, I see the potential for us only to win two of them, Oakland and Indianapolis.

Completely disagree. Miami is better in 2/3 phases than every one of those teams. They'll have opportunities to win all of those games. Now, whether they do is up to the QB.
I also think, other than Oakland, we have more potent rushing attack.

I agree Rd....I think every one of these games....are games we can win. Will we win them? Im not going to say that....but...winning breeds confidence. If we can start clicking....there are some games to be had there....

Obviously...it starts with Oakland...and I believe we will win this weekend. Oaklands offense does not scare me....and...our offense could have a good day against their D. That sets up the game against NY. If we can win the next two.....me might not be in to bad a shape. There isnt a stretch of brutal games until late in the season....

Way to soon to say, if MMoore were starting then sure, with Tannehill we have no idea what he will do in those games.

Think about Rook Qb v Jets all out blitzes...that usually does not turn out very well for the Rook, if they can fool Brady they will mind **** Tannehill

Inversely, there's opportunity for huge morale crush if they cannot win many of these so deemed "winnable" games.

I see St Louis and AZ being very winnable as well, but that's just me.

Off Topic - was this your first Ride to Sturgis? Where did you ride from?

I know we different on our opinions on Tanni....but...I honestly dont see Matt Moore giving us any more of a chance to win right now...I think we will know alot more after this Sundays game...see how Tannehill plays....

What I think will be good for momentum is that this team is likely to come out wanting to prove to people that the 30-10 score in the Texans game in no way represented how well they played overall against that team, and in no way represents "proof" of how bad the Miami Dolphins are believed to be by the masses.

In fact I think they're likely to come out even more juiced up at home against the Raiders than they did last week in Houston. I think this will be a "look, here's what we can do when nothing absolutely insane happens" game.

Then the momentum they gain from that win (if it happens, of course) can fuel the kind of run you're talking about here, where now all of the sudden this team has confidence.

We are talented enough to win those games yes....but Ryan Tannehill has got to play well in order for us to do so. By starting Ryan Tannehill the staff believed that he gave them the best chance to win right?

The good thing is that his performance in the Texans game contributed to the loss more via "freak" plays than by typical rookie mistakes, like making bad decisions and throwing into double-coverage, for example. Philbin alluded to this in the radio show bit he did.

Yes it was my first time riding to Sturgis and I absolutely LOVED it!!!! Unfortunately I wasn't able to ride from Las Cruces to Sturgis. My partner who was supposed to go backed out at the at the last minute. The women were going to drive the RV and we were going to ride so as a result, I had to trailer my bike up however...the ride from the campsite into Sturgis...AWESOME!!!!

South Dakota is definitely God's country. The scenary was BREATH TAKING, the routes we rode incredible, nice winding roads, Mount Rushmore was awe inspiring and Devil's Tower, Wyoming was awesome...Full Throttle Saloon, Buffalo Chip, etc...

The legend of Devil's Tower comes from an old Lakota indian folk tale; seven indian girls were on the prairie where a giant bear ran after them to attack them. The girls jumped onto the rock and prayed to the Great Spirit to take pity upon them and save them. The Great Spirit having heard their prayers caused the rock to rise up from the ground to protect them from the attacking bear. The bear scratched and scratched on the rock trying to climb up to get the girls until its claws broke off, hence giving the tower it's gouged appearance. The seven girls still remain at the top of the tower and form the constellation Pleiades.

Deadwood, SD; although it's not in its original location, we drank at the No. 10 Saloon and on display in the saloon is the chair in which Wild Bill Hickock was sitting when he was shot and killed by Jack McCall. Hickock was holding Aces over Eights which has since become known as the "Dead Man's Hand".

If you ever go to Sturgis, be sure you save up! Although it was a blast, every day was like putting a Hoover against your wallet and watching the money being sucked out. I spent $2000 easy for the 5 days I was there.

It wasn't a bad game until all the batted balls. Our team had Reliant stadium as quiet as hell until all hell broke lose on the interception and batted ball and fumble. Been watching football and played it for a decade. To my best recollection I have never in my life seen or experienced anything like what transpired in that 2 minutes as I saw at Houston.

As I said and still say it, Houston is nothing special. Good D, yep but until that debacle we had their wheels spinning in the sand.

If we lose to Oakland, I will be very alarmed. Even now, I still think this is a 6+ win team, if we stay healthy. Burnett and Dansby pretty much can't miss a game. No starters outside of our d-line can really.

I do have hopes hinged on Tannehill playing well. And this is the weakest schedule we have faced in as long as I can remember.

I see some wins there. One game at a time though, Oakland didn't look terrible against SD

I think there are definitely winnable games. I don't really think we will be the favorite in many or even any though to be honest. Raiders I think are the best shot - we seem to have their number and they are not a very good team. Still, if people want to claim our game against the Texans was flukey, they Raiders game was even more so. They were actually fairly similar imo, and I think we have similar teams.

NY Jets @ Miami - Winnable? Sure, but Tannehill going against that D could be ugly. And we need to hope that the light hasn't come on for Sanchez.

@ Arinzona - Winnable? Sure, but going to the West coast is not a good thing for east coast teams like us. They have struggles at QB and OL, but I don't think we can defend Fitz, and I see our offense struggling again.

@ Cinci - Winnable? Sure, as long as we don't let AJ Green go wild. We will need to see if Cinci's defense is more like last year's solid unit, of if they have regressed.

St Louis Rams - Winnable? Sure, but they played the Lions tough. A surge by Sam Bradford will make them a tough team.

@ Jets .... Winnable? Depends on the first game.

@ Colts...Winnable? Probably our best bet aside from Oakland imo, unless Luck starts turning it on. Their defense is not good.

This will be an important stretch for the team, a lineup devoid of any huge favorites unless the Jets find some magic. We need to take at least a few here.

Do you remember 2008 when we won the division?

That's pretty much when we forgot we were a rebuilding team and started expecting big things. Shame on us for going 11-5.

I dont think that there are any games this season where we should go into the week expecting the team to win, but if you dont think that we COULD win some of those game, then man, your viewpoint is harsh. Those are some of the worst teams in the league. If the Fins cant pull out a few over them, then they're truely terrible, and I just dont see that. We have several very good players on both lines, and quality pieces elsewhere too. I think that some of you are brainwashed by the national media who tells us every day all year, that without a Pro Bowler at QB you have no hope.
