Tell you what, freeze yourself now, we'll thaw you out when we get to SB and then we'll freeze you again, but most importantly...freeze yourself now.
i'd have to freeze my wife and kids too... wouldn't want to wake up and have my kids be older than me... that was just be weird like some fringe event. Edit... maybe not freeze the wife...
Who promoted Jeff Ireland to GM? Who is signing the checks? Who is in charge of the stadium? Who brought in the celebrities? Who led a bunch of ridiculous escapades to coax a bunch of head coaches that everyone knew were using the organization as leverage? Most importantly: Just what in the hell has the man done as an owner to convince you that we're back on track to being a great franchise? How has the team performed? What good players have we gotten? Maybe you're not a Marlins fan, or maybe you're just accustomed to this kind of treatment, but it's not right. Look no further than the Rooneys or Krafts to see how football owners are to conduct themselves. Responsibility is on the boss. You wouldn't know that, though. If you think Ross is free of blame for the shortcomings of this franchise, then we are done. We disagree.
LOL. First you blame Ross for players and are told you're wrong so now you change the narrative. Admit first that Ross didn't sign Marshall, Bess or CJ, then we'll tackle the rest of your bucket of shrimp stupid rhetoric.
I have full confidence that he had a huge say in getting guys like Marshall, Bush, and OchoCinco...Don't know where Bess comes in, though. Again, with the celebrities, the VIP experience, the proposed water park.... the man is trying to make money. You make money by putting asses in seats. Buying popular players does that. It's a lot easier and cheaper than building a dynasty. What's next, kid?
Who the hell are you that I should accept "your confidence" in anything? Prove it or STFU...pick one. Just making **** up and stating it as fact doesn't cut it here. Prove it. Bring a fact.
Huizenga hired Parcels who hired Ireland. Ross wasnt even a miniority owner when that took place. It was also WH who brought in the celebrity owners if I recall correctly As far as Ross's best ownership move I would say it was when he replaced Sporano with Philbin I also like that he buys up tickets and gives them out to vets n kids so that they dont black the games out in the home market. Kraft is a sleazy operator and I want no part in rooting for team with that brand of ownership.
You didn't prove ****. Give us proof that Ross brought in those players. Do it now. If its so damn obvious it shouldn't be hard to give us a single solitary fact that backs up....let's call it what it is..your lie.
FinD show us proof of your age. I want your long form birth certificate or Im thinking that 38 isnt your age its your IQ
You're right that WH hired BP who hired Ireland. Now if Finacious weren't trolling and actually corrected me on that, I'd give her a maggot's respect. Ross is the one who brought the celebrities in, though, and it's still his responsibility to do what's best for the team (dispose of Ireland). It's up to the owner to maintain his holding. As is, he's just watching the cash roll in. I also like that he buys up tickets and gives them out to vets n kids so that they dont black the games out in the home market. I live out of market, so I never heard of anything like that, but that's great to hear. However, as a fan, that doesn't matter. How's the team doing? He needs to find a capable GM and step back. Jones, Snyder, and Davis are just a few of the meddling owners who drove their franchises (once-dynasties) into the ground, and have become laughingstocks. I still think Kraft is one of the best football owners, but I see where you're coming from.
I'm the troll? LOL. I have tried to get you to prove a specific lie you told about Ross signing players. You refuse to do it...because you can't. And ftr, you didn't say Ross hired Ireland, you said he promoted him to GM, which is more or less the truth. That's why I didn't correct you. Seriously, do you even know what the **** you're saying?
Don't be mad that there are grown-ups talking. http://dolphinsindepth.blogspot.com/2008/01/dolphins-finalizing-hiring-of-ireland.html It works both ways, pup. Prove he had no say. I'd advise you stop crying. It's almost midnight in Ocala, isn't it? Time to go to bed, sonny. Work tomorrow. Try not to get any tears in the McNuggets.
Can you read? You said he "promoted" Ireland, not hired. Do you understand the difference? Here: LOL. You want me to prove a negative? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Prove your lie. C'mon, do it.
I already conceded to your superior cohort that I was wrong about that. You're really grasping now... and it doesn't matter how many "ha's" or how capitalized they are, you can't hide your anger. Lol I seriously think that it's in your best interest to go to bed now. You're getting cranky, and I should remind you again: fryers go on at 0800. I'll give you the last word before you go on my ignore list. I'm so going to hell for arguing with people like you lol...
Like I thought, you got nothing but bull****. I'm not angry. I'm annoyed. I'm annoyed that you'd come onto this site and just make **** up, then lack the sack to admit you made it up when called on it. That shows a lack of character and a lack of respect for this place. You are the type of person that hurts good sites, by being full of **** and too much of a ***** to admit you lied. You want to make a case for Ross being a bad owner, then do it without lying or leave.
It's not different than him making up crap about what Mike Sherman "actually meant" when praising Egnew's progress. Some guys just like to talk out their arse I guess.
There are tons of the same type fans with the Dolphins though. Except the Dolphins sold out 100 straight games after Marino, and the Bills first blackout came two seasons after they lost those players who went to those SB's. They are a very bandwagon group and that does not make them bad fans persay. We all want to see a winner.
