It is Fox Sports Fantasy Football. No PPR. 12 team league. Playoffs start after this week (weeks 14-16). Top 2 teams get a bye week 14. If I win this week I get a bye automatically because I am #1 in scoring in our league by over 100 points over the next highest. You get to play: 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 Flex (WR/RB) 1 TE 1 K 1 D/ST My squad: QBs: Tony Romo, Vince Young (just got off WW) RBs: MJD, Ricky Williams (drafted 147th ), Marion Barber, Caddy Williams WRs: Roddy White, Brandon Marshall, Miles Austin, Donald Driver, Michael Crabtree TE: Dallas Clark, Jermichael Finley (just got off WW) K: Stephen Gostkowski D/ST: Steelers Can I "Bring It Home" this year? Only my 3rd season playing fantasy football but I have made the Championship Game (and lost ) 2 years in a row. I'd like to win it this season...
I think your only real question is QB play. Romo has a tough playoff schedule. Young's offense is motoring and 3 good home games make him a potential starter in the playoffs. Alex Smith has some tasty upcoming match-ups, just saying. Great 1-2 punch at RB but no real flex option. Barber has some upside potential though if the offense starts to roll a little. Great depth to mix and match at WR/Flex.
Yeah, I am playing Barber in Flex this week @ NYG. Playing Austin and Marshall as my WRs. I don't like Roddy White's matchup against Philly with Chris Redman starting at QB. IDK, tough call, I played Austin over White because I get that game at home and I can root for them while watching. Because I am playing Barber and Austin and Romo, when the Cowboys score I have a good chance of it being my guys.
Romo has been very good against the Giants in his career but did poorly in their first meeting this year. Barber did well in that game though. I like all of your WRs this week. Redman would not be a concern given his production has been pretty good in almost all of his starts with Atlanta.
Well, Roddy has been nursing that bad knee for weeks now, Redman starting (not that bad but still...) and the Asante Samuel factor. That was 3 strikes for me and I have a nice alternative in Miles Austin I think.
