I tried this for the first preseason game, lets hope we can share ideas

While i was very confident going in to the preseason im gonna scale back a bit. lol

I think we only win by 14 pts. I know Marshall's here and Dansby is hungry. We can sack Edwards 4 times imo and rush his throws all day. Im not gonna expect victory Buffalo's always tough. But im gonna think positive and enjoy the first game of the year.

As for the Grub, i'm gaming early. I have invited people over for a early brunch. Shrimp cocktail and cheese and crackers, smoked sausage and pepperoni. But what makes the brunch is my amazing Bloody Mary's. Hehe

For half time or late in game probably I'm smoking 3 racks of ribs. Friends bring potato salad, fresh corn, and some one said antipasto(no anchovies i hope, damn italians).

Being in Bills land its tough, but with dolphin friends like this im a winner. OH AND LOTS OF BEER

Honestly I would have to say I am worried about Buffalo. Division Game, On the Road, They want to win one for the new coaches right off the back. I think they will use all the tricks they have week one to secure a win.

That said I expect the dolphins to Pass alot this game to get Henne and Marshall / Bess into the game early and often. Running will be a big part of the second half.

Buffalo will move the ball on our secondary though our goal line will stop them a few time from 6.

Final Score: Miami 24 Buffalo 17

    Henne 22 for 36: 230 yards
    Running Backs together: 125 yards
    Marshall- 87 yards
    Bess- 67 yards

Usually, I cook a bunch of ****. I got the grill going early, beer on ice, and finger foods out at around 1030....

But this sunday for the bills game, ill be on vacation in orlando, so i am going to the espn wide world of sports complex....the sports grill, to watch the game.

I got about 50 bucks to spend, food is free cause the espn zone counts as one of my disney dining plan resturants. So ill get wings or a burger, or some ribs, and lots and lots of beer. I wont be driving, ill have disney bus transportation to get me back to my resort hotel.

Ill be wearing my dolphins gear....pumped for the game. loud and proud. and all that jazz.

    prediction?

    Dolphins - 31

    Bills -13

Nothing in the preseason gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling about this year. Nonetheless the Bills are rebuilding so we SHOULD be able to pull it off. I'm thinking Miami 24 Buffalo 21 or something to that effect. Closer than a lot of people think.

Well, I rarely make a prediction on scores but since this is Opening Day, and Jake Long already got his cobwebs cleaned out in the preseason:

    21-14 Dolphins

    TD's

    Fasano
    Williams
    Hartline

Expect lots of run blitzing by Edwards and the Bills "D", so ledge climbers do not get too upset if we wind up with 80yds rushing or so.

    Chow:

    -pizza rolls, love those things
-Whole Ham BBQ with a Cajun rub
-Fresh Bread with a couple of different types of cheeses for some great sammy's

No hot wings for me...nope..did that last yr when the Falcons spanked us, to me they are bad luck for Opening Day.

    Booze:

    :dunno:

    Maybe some wine.

A Virgina Ham that you cook for a couple of hours on your BBQ, that smokey flavor of the BBQ goes throughout the ham and makes it quite tender.

It also takes some of that salty taste out of the ham and replaces it with BBQ goodness.

    Tu me prende en giro..:D

Buffalo, being our biggest rival, you can always count on a good game regardless of predictions. I think it will be a close game early but the Dolphins will pull away in the second half.

Bills 27, Dolphins 14. I'll have a french dip and throw it up after all the booze I'll drink to get the crap play of our oline out of our head. I think the bills get two big plays for tds one on sts an one on our secondary.

I think this is the way it goes too. We will be lucky to win this, and its a big wake up call to this team. They need it because week 2 is THE DIVA himself in Minneapolis.

You can put it on whole, or slash the sides of it to let the brine taste escape and replace it with the smokey flavor.

I'll have the game on 13 TVs at my private hideout.

We will have at least a half a dozen wing sauces and lots of fresh veggies and homemade Blue cheese dressing.

    Lots of beer.

now it wouldnt be the best ever if i gave it awaay right lol. i'll edit with my basics in a bit lol but the key worsh. and horse radish but everyone goes heavy. I notice most place put to much worsh sause in it makes it taste like ****.

Dont over power it allow the alcohol to come through and no matter what get the Tomato Juice to shine( by shine the drink still should taste like tomato juice with a nice nose burn of liquer). its a breakfast drink damn it that is made to kill a hang over. Your not making a Martini

Know my Mary can be a meal. I like horseradish light, but it's gonna need real cracked pepper corns(or at least course black pepper)
A salted rim and lime. and Ice always ice it down tomato juice is to thick. Please dont use V8 it over powers everything.

EXTRA EDIT ;l ya gotta have a foot long large celery stick lol stir and chew stir and chew

One alternative that I tried one time...cant remember what restaurant it was...but the glass was lined with Old Bay....now that was pretty good. I also always use Clamato Juice to make mine....

Another great ingrediant...is a couple shots of fish sauce...Mmmmmm....I miss South Florida...

Now i have used old bay and i love that stuff. But the Clamato juice is for some not me i want to taste the campbells tomato juice and Vodka with the salt and pepper rim. Those extra flavors over take it imo

1-do not over cook them, especially the canned ones

    2. make a small slit in the side of a canned biscuit and put some butter in, wet fingers and pinch biscuit closed again.

When you add extra moisture though, you increase the cooking time just a bit.

If you are going to make from a mix, or mix your own, add Mayo to the ingredients and believe me when I say, you will not have dry biscuits any longer.

    :D

As for the football, I'm interested in seeing who mans the Strongside OLB position and whether Soliai plays NT for 30 snaps or more.
