I sure hope we beat the record. Not to hold the record, but if we only turn the ball over 3 times in the next 3 games, that will significantly increase our chances of winning each of those games.
Statistically speaking, Pennington is clearly more accurate then Griese was, but Bob threw for about 13 TD's a year, Pennington should top that number in the last three games while throwing for more yards and with better efficiency. He is spot on about a Shula Team, but not the early 70's ones, but the mid to late 70's to early 80's pre Marino teams, create turnovers, don't turn the ball over, bend don't break Defense and smart football. It's fun to watch, a bit like going back into time.
