I thought you all might like to see one of the most original and unique mocks yet... courtesy of Al Fronczak from EastCoastSportsnews.com. Al has a history of accurate mocks. He publishes his mocks closer to DDay, and much of his stuff seems to come from solid "outsider input". I'm not so sure I agree with his pick for us though. http://www.eastcoastsportsnews.com/2009NFLDraft.html
Connor Barwin should certainly make you a happy camper. Fronczak had been picking Darius Butler for us in the two or three mocks before that.
I recall someone used to keep a tally and issue points for a lot of these predictors and I know Gosselin's name was near the top. Sorry for the add on to your thread but didn't feel it necessary to start a new one since all it is is another mock. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcon...nfl/stories/041109dnspomockdraft.24fa77e.html
Everette Borwn falling out of the first? I just don't see it at all. If he is there at 25 I would really would hope we would pick him up. I don't like Barwin cause I think he wold be there at 44.
Im pretty sure Gosselin just made all that up real quick... If your the best in the business there is no sence in giving "lesser" "draft "experts" all your inside information so early. I think I remember the same thing last year where his first 2 mocks were way out of whack and his final one was on the money.
That's what I remember as well. There is always a big difference between his third mock and the other two. That being said last year was not very accurate year for him. He was decently accurate but less so than he had been the two previous years.
Me and my friend (A Redskins fan that posts as Skull Destroyer on Thephins.com) did a Mock draft the night before the draft with minor touch-ups in the morning. We did this BEFORE it became apparent the Falcons would take Matt Ryan at #3; if you recall everyone had them getting Glenn Dorsey before hand for some reason. We decided to keep our drafts as they were without adjusting our mocks to have the Falcons picking Ryan. He ended up getting 9 of the first 31 picks right and I got 8 of the first 31 picks right (note: there wasn't a 32 pick last year). I kind of lost respect for these so called "experts" when me and my friend both got considerable more picks right than Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, so on and so forth. Look for Me and my friend's mock draft to come out here either tomorrow night, sunday night, or Monday night at the latest. Hopefully we do as well as we did last year.
i agree totally with the position: OLB, just not the pick -- Johnson is his man ... and then it is a toss up between Barwin and Sintim -- but, i don't like either of them in at 25.
