I get your point. Other QB's have had bad games at similar points in Henne's carreer. We all get it.

You simply make the conclusion that Henne will then become great just because a few other guys did. Of course, he needs a new OC, one or two more receivers who are all star caliber, a seam busting tight end, two new running backs, and a few more pro bowl o-linemen.

Then we need to wait until he reaches 1,000 throws. Only then will we know if he is good or not. We all get your point.

Show me where I've made ONE conclusion about Henne. Just one. other than saying that our OC sucks and that our running game is bad, show me where I've said anything that you've said I did.

Maybe you didn't, but you sure seem to overlook the guys flaws.

 

No I don't. His "flaws" are pointed out enough around here. If I chimed in about those all I'd be is another one of the parrots flying around here. Instead I'd rather, as a Dolphins fan, concentrate on the things he does well and point out to said parrots that it takes more than 25 games to make a decision about a QB.

Now, he may turn out to be a bust, however, he may also turn out to be a pretty good QB.

One thing is for certain though, ANYONE here who isn't a fortune teller or doesn't make a living out of evaluating NFL talent (and even then, after seeing how often they are wrong, I'd have a hard time going along with them) that has decided that Henne is either a bust, good, or great is FOS.

 

This ^^^. The number of QB guru - GM types on this board is staggering. I thought my football IQ was fairly high, and I have no idea whether or not Henne will be a good QB. But these guys here on the forum, they all seem to have figured it out already.

no QB who starts 16 or more games in the nfl and manages to win more than half of them sucks. They might not be great, but they don't suck.

Henne is currently 14-12 as a starter. Its not amazing, but when i think of guys who suck, i think 2-14, 4-12, or Tyler Thigpen.

 

The first part of your post is correct. I read his post in haste, and after reading through the nonsense around here (like the second part of your post) I falsely assumed that he was just another person who was stupid enough to think that they can already tell if Henne is going to be a bust or good.

I would, however, like you to post where my "support" of Chad Henne is anything more than saying that he needs more time to be evaluated. You know, just like pretty much every other QB that has played the game besides Dan Marino.

I'll tell you what, you keep sitting there with your hand down your pants and I'll do what the Dolphins FO is doing...and that is watching Henne play on Sundays.


(Also, how the phuck do you know what the Dolphins will or won't find? You a fortune teller too?)
