imo... Jake Long = Richmond Webb so far in Jakes career, Webb is Better. Correct me if I am wrong but I do not recall Webb missing games do to injury and he rarely gave up sacks as Jake has. Need some facts checks on this one guys...

Um...Richmond Webb gave up some sacks in his 12 year career. And Jake Long has missed 2 games in 4 years.

He also had 4-5 plays is what I said. Contextualize. He had 3 carries for 11 yards. Thing is, he had 2 carries for 10 in the first half IIRC (5.0 YPC). Then he suffered what appeared to be a concussion. Watching football, you will rarely if ever see a ball carrier with a head injury hold onto a ball. He also had 1 catch for 32 yards.

I watched the Dolphins at Texans on Sunday.

He had space on the concussion play. If he hadn't been hit in the head stopping progress, that could have very well be a 5-10 yard gain. You're taking away the fumble, but the fact is that he wasn't tackled so much as he crumpled.

    Back in Miami
    Yikes....

All do respect to Woodley who wasn't awful and has since passed RIP.... but if that's what Tanny turns into the pick won't be considered a success. I'm hoping from MUCH more out of Tanny that Woodley level play.

David Woodley was an 8th round draft pick and was an overachiever. Despite being an eighth round draft selection, he was elected the Miami Dolphins team MVP for his rookie season in 1980. In the 1980 season, he set and still holds the Miami Dolphins team record for most pass completions (176) for a rookie QB. In 1982, he became one of the few NFL players to score touchdowns passing, running and receiving in an NFL season. Woodley was never a great quarterback, nor one of the best but he certainly played his heart out and I don't think it was ever a problem with his drive. IMHO Tannehill has skills and abilities Woodley was never blessed with, its just a matter of bringing out his best.
