I've been doing it for 2 years and it's worked well. There was a time I stopped doing it for like 2-3 months and I noticed the difference.
Teeth felt a little looser and def noticed my mouth would feel dry and ****ty whereas I never chew gum or have bad breath since I've been pulling.
A friend says since she's been doing it, her allergies have gotten so much better that she doesn't have to take medications except on extreme pollen days. And even then, they're not nearly as bad as before.
Finally got around to trying this and all I can say is , WOW.... It does an amazing job. Time consuming and a bit boring while doing it, but worth it.
What did it do for you? I have been doing it for about four weeks, maybe 5, and went to the dentist yesterday. She said it was definitely helping with gum health and less tartar buildup.
Glad to see it's working and Sick's getting some action without paying. You're all lucky I'm a generous information wizard
After about 2 weeks I noticed a remarkable difference . It feels much cleaner like the feeling you have right after a dentist cleaning. Hard to explain but the whole mouth feels fresher. It removes bacteria that regular flossing and brushing doesnt.
I can't say I'm consistent, but I've tried it on and off for the last year, year and a half. I'll be consistent for a couple of weeks, then forget for a few. Anyway, I would concur with it feeling like having a dentist cleaning. It clearly does remove a greater percentage of mouth bacteria. I remember reading a study that confirmed that although you can say the same about using a simple saline rinse. As for the other claims of improved health, who knows? I can see the logic behind having less bacteria in your mouth and then swallowing less bacteria resulting in less of the effects that bad bacteria can have on your system. Bacteria has been linked to everything from heart disease to inflammation. However, science isn't great at deciphering such complex interactions at this point so I think it will be a while before we can say anything definitive about such effects.
