I'm glad you brought this up because I absolutely agree. Hartline is often pretty demeaning to reporters. If they ask him a question he doesn't like he'll basically call them dumb for asking him, in calmer words though.
These guys get asked dumb questions all the time, but they usually play along and are respectful. Not Hartline though.
It's actually something he's done all his career. I remember in his rookie year he'd act and treat the media like they were beneath him. That's probably my one issue with him.

I don't think Hartline should ever be a face of the franchise. I think there's a ton of potential for embarrassment. I don't think he'll get arrested for murder or anything, but I think he'll just end up saying the wrong thing.
