Here's a guy I would be happy to get late round 3 or in round 4. Fits the zone system. Can play Guard but is versatile inside. Great write-up on him http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2013-nfl-draft-san-diego-chargers/2013/4/24/4228580/san-diego-chargers-zone-blocking-brian-schwenke And a good quote describing the ZBS:
All that I can comment on is what I saw of him at the combine, and he looked like a darned good athlete there.
Yes higher than them. I have Hugh Thornton higher than Winters, btw. Fragel Rock reminds me of Vollmer in some ways but slower. I question whether he can play in this system. You can't get by at this level just because it's a 50 dollar cab ride just to get around your frame.
I felt like Fragel moved adequately, though not impressively. And executed a variety of style of blocks with good technique. Haven't watched Thornton. I'm pissed I ran out of time to watch like 50 more prospects. The Arkansas runningbacks (both) for example.
You're right, he's definitely competent. He's not a bad prospect at all. Not necessarily on my target board (mostly on account of system) but he's an adequate prospect which is something I can only say about MAYBE half the prospects that will get drafted. Or at least it's an opinion I'll share with the NFL on maybe half of them.
