This article makes little sense to me. How is this an offseason to forget? Why was this offseason a disaster again? This offseason saw the organization finally taking the turn it needed to rebuild. This offseason saw the organization bring in Parcells a well respected man around the NFL and architect of some great teams along with a tough nosed new head coach and a young talented GM to rebuild the organization. We had what looked to be a solid draft with some good prospects. No picks that left people absolutely scratching their heads. Some solid players were brought in to fill some glaring holes on the roster enabling us to at least be competitive this year. So Josh McCown cutting his finger and J.T. being on a dancing show makes for a disastrous offseason and negates all that great stuff that happened? I think not. In fact if things work out well with the Parcells crew I'd imagine Dolphin faithful will consider this the best offseason we've had since the Marino draft. In addition, Trent Green losing 200K on the sale of his house.... what the heck does that have to do with anything related to the Dolphins offseason? LOL.
Hate to say it, but I gotta agree. I thought that the column had some interesting tidbits, but none of them were really on-field related. Moreover, I think that the title was misappropriated. Maybe it should have been titled something like "Dolphins' offseason filled with peculiarity" I'll talk to the editors...
A whole lotta nonsense about absolutely nothing. But at this time of year, we'll read pretty much anything.
