Yeah we figured that had to be it when we were watching. That guy is clearly not as lean as the old one and it would seem hard to gain that weight in only a few weeks. He looked taller from a height perspective as well though it was hard to tell because Tyson Kidd is so short himself.

I wish Summerslam didn't cost 55 bucks to order. Ridiculous. Back in the day I knew somebody who had a box that could descramble the signal. But even buying it then it was only 30 bucks.

Great Match between Orton and Christian. Sad to see Christian push will now end and he will go back to mid card status

WWE Screwed up big time imo. I get it, your Mexico tour is coming up but wow this is stupid. There goes pretty much all hope for a new title...

It will be extremely interesting to see what the deal is with Nash and if he ends up being Triple H's enforcer so to speak. One of the former WWE writers (either Mates or Laguna I think) pointed out that Triple H can't hold his own alone and always needs someone whether it was Shawn, Chyna, DX, Stephanie or Flair around to help him out and was always better with someone to play off with, hence why Johnny Ace is around.

I think this was a pretty good way to open up the storyline with Punk while keeping Cena in the mix but keeping the main event matches for PPVs fresh. If I were to guess I still say you're going to get Cena vs. Punk at Suvivor Series with Triple H/Nash in Cena's corner and The Rock in Punk's. But in the meantime I bet you'll see Punk vs. Nash at the next PPV and Cena vs. Del Rio.

Of course you have Mysterio vs. Del Rio tonight in San Diego so they could hot shot the title back to Mysterio (with Punk helping him win it) and set up a 4 Way match at the September PPV too. So while it sucks Punk isn't the champion anymore right now I still think he's going to end up being the one walking into WM as champ.

Cena and Orton are the champions, there's a shocker... <yawn>

So Kevin Nash showed up at SummerSlam? I just assumed that guy was finished several years ago.

Well I thought it was obvious Orton was going to walk out of SS with the title. And yes I agree it's boring but once again the WWE is very light on heels, especially on Smackdown. Maybe Barrett's big win over Bryan will put him next in line for a title shot and hopefully he wins it.

I'm going to wait and see how the Nash storyline plays out first before passing judgement on it. But I'm thinking it leads to him siding with a heel corporate Triple H and acting as his enforcer/lackey as Triple H keeps putting up road blocks in front of CM Punk leading to a WM match. Remember the money is almost always in the hero chasing the title, not the other way around.

I enjoyed the Morrison/Truth & Del Rio/Mysterio match but outside of that it was a pretty boring RAW. It was pretty funny seeing Nash try to hang with Punk on the mike. It looks like we're going to have the slow who's lying storyline going to be played out a bit. Cena's promo at the end was pretty bad whining about Del Rio cashing it when he didn't even screw Cena out of the title but Punk and Cena has been beaten by guys like Edge cashing in the briefcase before too.

For better or worse it looks like that's going to happen. Not sure what the point would be considering none of them can wrestle a full time schedule though.

Seth Mates, former WWE writer, posted on Twitter what he'd do is have Nash be revealed as the RAW GM and in turn Triple H gets HBK as the Smackdown GM. Then the three of them along with Stephanie are all in the ring cutting a promo on RAW and Triple H talks about how Shane left for other opportunities, Linda stepped down to run for Senate, and now Vince is fired and that leaves only 1 McMahon left. He then talks about how the Kliq's ultimate goal was to control the WWE for real by themselves and then Triple H fires Stephanie leaving the Kliq in control with CM Punk playing the rebel trying to rid the WWE of the Kliq. While certainly interesting it's just way too much Triple H for my liking.

Look for cena to enter the fray with punk and lead the revolution. Alberto Del Rio will be the kliqs number one guy.

Eh I doubt it with Alberto Del Rio, he just doesn't seem like someone the Kliq would back or that would fit with the Kliq's style. I could see it being Randy Orton (boring I know) since he's already a main eventer and is credible, The Miz wouldn't be a bad choice nor would a heel John Morrison but I don't think the fans would buy him as a legit threat. Cena would probably be the best choice to be the Kliq's coporate champion but the WWE just makes too much money off of him as a hero to the kids and women that I don't think they'll pull that trigger until he stops.

It's funny though Cena is now 0-2 vs. Punk at the last two PPVs but yet again he's the one that got to close out RAW this week and it looks like he's going to get the first shot at Del Rio at the up coming PPV, unless the WWE wants to go with a Triple Threat match.

I'm thinking they will back him simply because it appears cena will be chasing him, not to mention cenas diatribe about del rio stealing the championship as well as cm punks.

Best of WCW Monday Nitro, all-time greatest cage matches, and the Mysterio documentary are all available for netflix streaming now FYI. I'm going to try to watch these over the next few days. I got half an hour or so into the monday nitro one last night. A lot of footage of the outsiders' 'invasion' of course and the most notable thing so far is the Hogan/Goldberg match. Should be some good cruiserweight division coverage as well, I'm hoping.

Matt Hardy got released from TNA today after he was arrested for a DUI. Matt was already suspended by TNA for showing up late to numerous events as well as tasering his girlfriend and posting the clip on TNA. I do find it extremely hard to believe TNA still employs Jeff though considering all the crap he's gotten himself into, including showing up to a main event PPV match drunk/high or whatever. I guess it goes to show you if you can draw money you can do anything and still keep a job. As for Matt it's kind of sad to see but he's lucky he didn't kill himself or someone else driving drunk. I guess the next step for him is ROH as I doubt the WWE would bring him back after all the crap he pulled with them.

I stated last week I think they are gearing a battle between punk/cena v hhh/his administration. If you watch where they are goign with the characters this seems the most likely to me.

The WWE is trying to get realistic as possible now, hence Miz and Truth's promo which I thought was very good. The only problem with them is who are they going to wrestle? With Mysterio out of action for a few months and Cena tied up with Del Rio and Punk with Nash who are the baby faces to oppose them? I'm guessing they will probably face and beat Kingston and Bourne for the tag titles but again what? There's just no other baby faces on RAW, unless you want Morrison to step up.

Overall I thought RAW was pretty good tonight between the ADR/Morrison match, the promos with Punk/Cena/ADR, the Punk/Cena match, the Punk/HHH/Nash promo and the Miz/Truth promo.

Also good to see Zack Ryder back on RAW..... in the back ground celebrating with Kofi and Bourne. But I guess it's better than a beat down like Santino got. Babysteps still.

Some stuff was so predictable on raw, nash costing punk in the main event, nash being in a car accident and the hhh going to check on him and of course everyone knew that didn't happen, johnny ace is the one who sent the text to nash, well that's my guess. I'm hoping that the miz and truth will end up in a program with kofi and bourne to maybe get over the tag division.

Yeah RAW was pretty predictable but I don't think Ace is the one who sent him the text message, I think Ace is being used as a red herring.

Just finished reading it. I knew about a few of Flair's issues but wow not all of those, the guy certainly has major problems in his personal life, especially with money. It's sad that one of the greatest wrestlers in history still has to go out in the ring at age 62 to make a living. But he has no one to blame but himself.

too many women and having no sense on how to spend money plus not paying your taxes leads to wrestling at 62 when you should be set for life and relaxing. probaly be 70 years old and working the indie scene trying to chase down enough cash to live off. truly sad.

Interesting it looks like the "real" Sin Cara aka Mistico might be done with the WWE. The "real" Sin Cara was at the Smackdown tapings this week but the WWE used Sin Cara 2 aka Hunico instead (Sin Cara 2's match had to be redone because the first match he had with Heath Slater at the tapings was so bad and full of blown spots the WWE made them wrestle a 2nd time).

Ugh RAW was bad last night. Nash texted himself? Really? That's what they came up with? And the Triple H/Punk match is if Triple H doesn't win he's fired? Really? Same old crap and it's lose/lose for the fans because if Punk wins we get to sit through Triple H getting his job back at the next RAW and if Triple H wins it just wouldn't make any sense considering he's not an active wrestler and Punk is the hottest act the WWE has.

I did think the 8 man tag match was pretty good except would it have killed the WWE to have Del Rio interfer and cost Cena the match and giving the rub to Swagger? I mean it's not like it would have hurt Cena's image or heat. Nice to see Zack Ryder on RAW though and getting a W though.

The hhh-nash-punk storyline is already done, they shot there wad already, you can see it a mile away that nash or another hhh cronie maybe x-pac is going to interfere in the match. If they want to do something different have mason bryan come out and power bomb hhh straight to hell, and the next night hhh resigns and just becomes the raw gm where he should have been all along. it won't happen because they are spending all there time to trying to trick the fans that nash and hhh arn't in it together.

The problem is is that they rushed into this CM Punk/Triple H match. Something like that should be saved for WM or a big 4 PPV like Survivor Series. A match like that needs to feel like a big deal but instead it's being held at a throwaway PPV. They rushed and booked the match with only 2 weeks worth of build up, it just doesn't feel like a special match. Plus why include Nash in the Summer Slam main event if Punk wasn't going to get a match against him asap? Plus Nash hasn't been important to the wrestling business since 1999/2000ish, why should/would people care about seeing him back anyway? None of it makes any sense and it's just rushed/sloppy booking.
