Beats me. If I were running the WWE, he'd be one of the guys I'd start to build the company around along with Morrison, The Miz, DiBiase, Kingston etc. I'd probably gut over half of the roster of the dead weight (like Mark Henry) and focus on actual in ring talent to get the product over.

Heck, if I ran WWE, I'd head over to Dragon Gate and lure the entire World 1 stable.

I had a feeling that the WWE signed Hardy to a contract, and kept it under wraps, and surprised the fans by giving him the belt, and i assume he signed another contract to stay

It would have been dumb not to. People pay to see Jeff Hardy, and he can actually wrestle.

i also think thats why they had a clearance sale on hardy's merchandise, to have wrestling websites report that Hardy is likely to leave.

Big Show as Jericho's partner makes sense, especially since Jericho has been bullied around lately by Mark Henry etc, even if I wish it was HBK or Christian instead. And hey they beat Legacy and kept the belts. That's always a plus.

Too bad Orton is still champion, he's just so boring. I'm going to see Hell in the Cell for the Summer Slam main event vs. Triple H for the title, Triple H beats him and wins the belt and moves into a slow burning feud with Cena ending at WM.

I don't know how many of you get HDNet or watch ROH, but the Torch is reporting the show is moving to Mondays, 8:00p EST, one hour before Raw starts.

I check out the show - when I remember to - on Saturday nights as it is (The Tyler Black / Bryan Danielson match this past weekend was actually really good), but this move will get me to watch it more frequently.

I love that the WWE is wasting valuable TV time on a Dink The Clown/Chavo Guerrero feud. God forbid they give us a 15 minute match between two guys that can work like Evan Bourne and Swagger and who fans might actually start to care about if they can show what they can do in the ring.

Or use that wasted time building up storylines and angles.

I like The Miz. He's pretty good on the mike and is slowly getting better in the ring.

I do hate the 'Beat the Clock' gimmick. It's just dumb and pointless. What ever happened to one night tournaments or battle royals? At least those are fair (if wrestling were real and all).

I can't take The Big Show seriously when he looks like a giant blueberry in that ring attire. He needs to seriously whip out the 'Big Nasty Bastard' t-shirt or just go with the Andre The Giant tights.

Also it's hard to take The Big Show seriously when he's getting beat up by non wrestlers like Floyd Mayweather and Shaq, granted Shaq is huge and all but still.

It could be Orton vs. God at SS and I'd still be disappointed because Orton is there. Hopefully Cena wins the title so we won't have to see Orton hogging as much TV time.

Here's what I don't like about the beat the clock gimmick:

Only Superstar A,B,C, and D gets a shot if they win. Meaning their opponents really have no reason to wrestle, because if they win, they don't get crap, really.

Why? At least Cena is over with the crowd and draws a huge amount of money. And can actually work the mike and wrestle with the right opponent.

The best thing Orton does is stand around looking around the arena.

Beat the clock makes zero sense all around.

Damn...I missed the show tonight. I completely forgot it was on. Issues at home. Sounds like I didn't miss anything though...except did someone say Shaq got into it with the Big Show?

    Who is hosting next week?

Yeah Shaq was the special ring enforcer for the main event of Jericho/Big Show vs. Crime Tyme. Big Show was beating up Crime Tyme and trash talking Shaq. So Shaq got into the ring and clotheslined Big Show out of it.

And yea Jeremy Piven aka Ari from Entourage is the host next week.

I still want to know what happened to Dusty Rhodes hosting.

Really Sgt. Slaughter as the guest next week? They couldn't think of someone better? Especially it being in Canada? I mean I'm not expecting Bret Hart but there has to be someone better than him.

Yeh he was....but he's a hilarious comedian. Some things about the show that annoyed me...I dont think they are doing the rivalry between Primo and Carlito the justice it should have. That could be a potential PPV match if built up right, they bring out the best in each other, the crowd blew though. Chris Masters needs to be doing more then being a lumberjack the week after you bring him back...and stop all this mixing and matching of feuds. Masters and MVP could turn into a solid one..but looks like they arent going there. Swagger and Bourne could have turned into a nice back and forth, but you enter MVP back into it and it turns back into Swagger, MVP? What? I like the idea of HBK coming back, but its time he became a heal, seriously. Have them do the match and start posing and all that stuff, and just like a couple of years ago when HHH surprise attacked HBK, have HBK return the favor. They need some fresh heel heat on the show. Orton is growing very stale. And for godssake..someone tell me why Mark Henry is kicking his heals and laughing all the time? This is supposed to be the worlds strongest man, not the jolly green giant. Big Show and Jericho I like..but they need some serious competition. Like oh I dont know...the Brothers of Destruction maybe?

I found some interesting infor on some of the Pay-Per-Views coming up.

After Summer Slam is Breaking Point. All matches are under Submission Rules.

After that is Hell in a Cell, with the main events taking place inside.... well, take a guess.

The WWE sure knows how to take a gimmick match and really jam it into the ground. Gimmick matches should be special matches to end a feud, the fans will get tired of it after the 2nd match.

agree completly, every match a submission match, im sorry but BORING, same if they do every match a HIAC match i mean, it sucks for the fans at the event, because the cell is so big, it will be hard to see whats going on

There's been exactly 1 submissionmatche I've seen that I actually liked which was the Hart/Stone Cold match at WM13. They're pretty boring for the most part but 7 or 8 matches filled with them? Bad idea, the WWE should just bring back Katie Vick instead.

The HiTC matches are going to be overkill. Each match will try to top the other by the 4th match the fans won't pop unless Jeff Hardy does a swanon bomb off the cage until a flaming table with barbed wire in the middle of a pool filled with sharks with frickin' laser beams on their head.

I remember when those cage matches were special in the late 80s/early 90s now it seems like they do one once every 3 months on RAW. Even the HiTC matches were special because they were used for storyline purposes to end feuds. It's just lazy booking.

i feel the WWE killed matches like the Hell in a Cell and other gimicks matches, except for Inferno, and buried alive matches. But i feel that you can only have kane for an inferno and taker for a buried alive. They killed the casket matches, stretcher matches and the overkill of them all, ladder matches...

I hate all of those gimmick matches you mentioned. They're so dumb in my opinon. The point of wrestling is to pin your opponent or make them give up not stuff them in a casket or push them past a line in a stretcher.

i agree, but sometimes i think it works, like a buried a live match for a storyline, ie the biker Undertaker getting buried alive so the deadman is reborn agian for WM, also inferno match between Kane and Taker had a good reason as thats how kane got his "scars" and he wanted taker to feel his pain...but yeah i dont like a stretcher match

Haha ok makes sense. But still I do think they buried this gimmick matches into the ground. Like how they always have the 2 or 3 Elimination Chamber matches at the FEB. PPV.

The Royal Rumble match works so well because it's only 1 time a year and there are big stakes involved.

was i the only one who thought the Shawn Michaels/HHH skits last night were so bad they were on par with old WCW stuff for pure hokeyness???

specifically the "Flair is in the nuthouse" angle, and going further back, the "Cactus Jack is homeless, and crazy, and thinks he is the Captain of a ship" angle that Foley detailed in his first book, for it's absurdity?

who exactly are they appealing to with that stuff??? and who wrote it? they need to seek employment elsewhere.
