Why? Did they part on bad terms or something?

The Rock has stated numerous times that he is done with Pro Wrestling. It is a thing of his past and he has moved on. For the most part, he has kept his word and probably will, provided the movie roles keep coming.

And as for Santino, I am not sure. I thought he was on a couple of weeks ago when Santina was fired (obviously) but not sure if he was on last week or not. I have noticed that Beth Phoenix seems to have disappeared. The Wolf does not agree with this... :pity:

What Wolf said and a lot of guys in the WWE have heat with him (aka are extremely jealous of how successful he is).

The Rock is trying very hard to rid himself of his wrestling background and gimmick, hence him dropping 'The Rock' and going with Dwayne Johnson. The WWE has tried numerous times to bring him back for a random RAW or WM but he keeps turning them down. I guess when you make 5 to 10 mill a movie you can do that. Good for him though, he's apparently a very good guy in real life and I'm glad he left on his own terms and not in a body bag like most.

Thankfully Mark Henry isn't Jericho's partner, I thought it was funny when Henry asked the fans if they wanted him to be on Jericho's team the crowd booed. By the way I loved how Jericho knocked Edge about always being injured because it's the absolute truth. Seriously Jericho is the best thing the WWE has going. Why he's not headlining RAW is beyond me.

Christian or HBK. Either choice would be great. Both of those guys along with Jericho could not only talk the talk but wrestle too.

Note to the WWE: Mark Henry has been in the company since 1996 and he has never been over. Putting him on the most important show and having him try to get over by beating guys via count out isn't going to work, because after all it's Mark Henry, he sucks. It might be time to just move on.

He did but then Lawler and Cole started talking about ZZ Top. I'm confused. Maybe they were talking about them in 2 weeks. I hope so anyway. Although I'd be excited to see a ZZ Top vs. Godwinns Hog Pen match..... yeah I'm kidding but admit it you wouldn't be shocked if it actually happened.

He reminds me of Val Venis...which i never got way Val never got a push. I thought he had good mic skills, terrible gimmick imo though

Venis did get a decent push though and was pretty over. I think his gimmick worked for a bit but it did get old after awhile. With his gimmick the fans never took him seriously as a main event threat. Of course once he joined RTC his career of being a useful wrestler ended.

RTC had a decent run though. Stevie is a great mic worker, he has to be one of the most underated workers in the biz of all time.

wow, TNA put the tag titles on Steiner and Booker, and the legends title on Nash. the MEM won all their matches.

who would've ever seen that coming? :pity:

yeah, i probably should've spoiler tagged this, but i figured i would try to save anybody who cared the time wasted on watching that ppv.

yes, he was revealed as Samoa Joe's advisor. yawwwn

guess that makes more sense than to make him join the opposition, because things aren't aready stacked in favor of the MEM...

    oh wait, bad example. :pity:

Yeah I read it, I thought it was well done. Definitely in the 2nd tier of wrestling books under the obvious Mick Foley and Bret Hart books. Hopefully he ends up writing a sequel about his time with the WWE, retiring, Benoit and coming back to the WWE. Too bad if he did write one now it would probably be heavy edited 'WWE style' but I'd love to hear him comment about how he was kept down in the card by Triple H and never really given a fair run as WWE Champion.

By the way Jericho is slowly becoming one of the top 20 to 30 wrestlers in North America ever (I say North America because I don't follow Japan much if at all) in terms over workrate and mike skills.

Whoever thought having ZZ Top be the GMs of RAW must have been the same person that thought Aldo Montaya would get over. Seriously what a train wreck. Not even Jericho could have saved that last segment. It also doesn't help that they're clearly 'playing' their guitar/bass with background music. Whatever this is crap.

I agree...And, this feud betwen Orton HHH, Cena, and those other 2 clowns is getting VERY tiresome. I watch wrasslin during footballs offseason on Monday nights. This offseason is another reason the next football season cant come fast enough.

Tonight's been very dull but Jericho's short conversation with Legacy right there was great, especially the ending.

EDIT: Shaq hosting next week.

Yeah they need to end the Triple H/Orton feud fast and then break up Legacy and push DiBiase with the US/IC Title. Legacy is just so bad, they have zero heat and just look like complete tools. I seriously don't know how they keep building Raw around them. It's basically the same show every week with them.

You knew Shaq was going to host sooner or later. At least he's a true fan and will probably do a nice job.

What ever happened to Dusty Rhodes? I thought he was suppose to be the host one of these weeks.

I will give credit to one thing I think the WWE has done right. I like the idea of individual matches being sponsored. The six man tag was sponsored by Dave and Busters. I find that important because I think it gaurantees a quality match each week if they keep it up.

The rest was pretty bad tonight.

I missed it too. I heard her screw something up, but I didn't hear exactly what she said.

You know, the best part of last night's show was Lawler whipping that little ***** Kendrick's *** :)

Because Vince hates cruiserweights and loves all of those big heavyweight/roided up guys like Batista since Vince himself is/was a body building freak.

Vince never gives crusierweights any time on his shows or any pushes. I'd rather watch Evan Bourne or Kendrick or London or Kingston fight each other than another Batista or Kane or Big Show or Mark Henry match again.

It's too bad because the crusierweights were one of the big reasons why WCW killed the WWF in the ratings back in the late 90s. But those type of wrestlers will never been given a run with the E.

TNA is apparently more of a train wreck than i realized.

Jeff Jarrett has been given "personal time off" from the company (Jarrett's spin on current events) by TNA head Dixie Carter. others are saying that he has been suspended indefinitely.

this is due to mounting tension between JJ and Kurt Angle.

a caller to the Bubba the Love Sponge show claimed on air late last week that Kurt's ex-wife Karen and the Angle children have moved in with Jeff and his children in his Nashville home.

Bubba apparently masked the caller's voice on air, because they claimed to be a TNA employee, who did not want to get fired for talking publicly.

now Angle has said he will not re-sign with TNA unless JJ is removed from booking authority with the company. his contract is up in September.

so this is leading to speculation that Angle is pulling a power play to get booking control of TNA.

though i can understand his anger with Jarrett, since he has said before that Karen slept with someone on the TNA roster while they were separated, to get back at Kurt for his cheating during their marriage.

so aside from the "Days of Our Lives" drama... Angle is the TNA champion. he may be leaving in a few weeks, and is the champ. shades of the Bret Hart/HBK situation years ago, ironically.

they tape TV weeks in advance, and are already scrambling to remove and rewrite angles and scenes with Jarrett, because of his suspension.

i've paraphrased most of what's in the article, but here is a link.

    http://www.pwheadlines.com/tna-news...ew-contract-if-jarrett-remains-in-power.shtml

Hopefully this leads to Angles WWE return by breaking Ortons ankle and starting up a long feud with a returning HBK or Jericho.

Its a pipe dream but I hope it happens because that's the only way the E will ever release a Kurt Angle dvd.
