There's NO WAY that any match tonight tops this one.

My stream went out RIGHT after the match. How fitting. I am not even going to watch the last two matches. No need.

That match alone means I'll probably be buying the WM 25 DVD.

Really enjoyed it from start to finish.

I think the only reason they put Show in the match was so that Cena could FU him.

Didn't watch most of it ... how was it?

Poor planning ... they should have brought out the hall of fame guys after the Michaels/Undertaker match. There was no way Edge/Cena/Show could follow that.

It was meh. Nothing special from what I saw. Only thing that intrigued me was Edge putting Big Show through the security wall.

Obviously Taker-Michaels was the show stopper but overall it was a good way to spend a Sunday night

I give it 3 stars out of 5

I liked the Taker/HBK match a lot and this last match was pretty good. Everything else wasn't anything special IMO.

Watched a bit of WM25 the Money in the bank was pretty lame. Saw the last 8 mins of the Taker match thought it was a good finished.

    Thats all I saw.

Didn't see Wrestle Mania, just read a quick recap and right now it looks like everyone who went over pretty much should have. I'm glad they gave Jericho and Matt Hardy wins. I really think Matt Hardy could turn into a bigger star than Jeff if the WWE really gets behind him, he could be a poor man's HBK.

Sounds like the UT/HBK match was unreal. I think a debate needs to start on whether Shawn Michaels or Ric Flair is the greatest North American wrestler ever in terms of all around skills.

I heard that the Triple H/Orton match had zero heat, and it makes me smile. Orton is boring as hell and I'm tired of the Triple H show. The angle was dumb and I'm glad the match sucked.

Interesting that CM Punk won the MitB again, I heard he got a bit of a heel reaction from the crowd. Him as a heel might be interesting, he could really push his 'straight edge' character down the fans throats.

Ray, the UT-HBK match MADE the PPV. Its why we all are wrestling fans as adults in my opinion. It was VERY well done. Anytime the Undertaker is coming off the top rope (and not with the old school), you know its good. Not only that, the man risked his life on a plancha that I swear, I thought the guy was dead, or at least paralyzed, and it worked within the context of the match. I can't say enough about the effort those to gave.

In my opinion, Shawn Michaels is the greatest worker of all time. He is better than Flair, better than Hart, better than Benoit in his prime. The guy brings it every time and can play the perfect face/heel. I would LOVE to see him go heel for awhile, just to change it up.

And yes, CM Punk DID get a bit of a heel reaction, but I think that was more because of Christian not winning than CM Punk winning. The crowd was really behind Christian and he probably should have won. I feel sorry for Shelton too. The guy should win one just for the amount of times he has competed in the match.

The rest was rather blah. Matt finished Jeff with a nice twist of fate while Jeff's head was in the chair. That was unique. The match was much of the same in terms of a garbage brawl, but it wasn't bad. You know that it isn't over between the two. Matt was sporting some new ring attire which I liked. Kind of gives him a fresh look after years of the same thing.

Jericho winning was needed, but still underwhelming. Steamboat looked VERY good al things considered and probably should have gone it alone with Jericho. Snuka and Piper brought it WAAAAAY down. Steamboat vs. Jericho with Flair turning on Steamboat to back Jericho would have been better. Flair could have justified it by saying that Jericho finally beat some sense into him and proved that they no longer belgoned.

That or have Austin come down, stun Jericho and give Steamboat the win.

As for a CM Punk heel turn. I could actually see him piggybacking on Jericho's "morals," diatribe. Those two together in some type of short lived psuedo faction might be interesting. Doubt it happens, but you never know.

I still can't get over that UT-HBK match. Best match of UT's career in my view.

WM sucked this year imo other than the Ladder Match, Hardy-Hardy Match and Taker match, also Stone Cold coming out was pretty cool. The Taker-HBK match was simply amazing. It was so tense. I loved every minute of it. The MITB was good but i would have liked a better ending. Benjamin deserves to win one year. And i thought this year was his year. He should have won. Hardy-Hardy Match was good and i liked how Matt won. They both worked well with each other. Other matches i was not that into, especially the two main events. HBK-Taker should have been the main event, idc if no title was on the line...

Btw WM imo was worth watching just to see this match. I only paid $10 since we split it with a couple of friends but i was happy to sit through the event to see taker-hbk match. It really an amazing match! btw why did they replace the tag title match with a Kid Rock concert? that was stupid imo...

There's no debate that Michaels is better than Bret Hart and Benoit. But I'm not sure I want to place him over Flair. I'm talking about the total package here. Michaels is one hell of a wrestler and pretty good on the mike but so was Flair and Flair might be the best ever on the mike. Both guys could play a face or heel (Flair's heel to HBK's heel is really no comparison). Flair was a huge draw anywhere and everywhere, something Shawn wasn't when he was champion. Flair was also a top guy in both the WWF and WCW/NWA (Shawn never left the WWF so we'd never know if he could have been a big draw in a different company). I do think Michaels is the better high flier and could pull off the gimmick matches like the ladder match and Hell in the Cell better than Flair but it would have been interesting to see Flair in those types of matches in his prime.

Both guys could pull off 5 star matches with anyone at anytime but I still think Flair is the best ever and thats even after Flair hung around about 8 years too long. Hopefully Michaels retires before he embarasses himself like Flair did. But I think overall Flair is still #1 and Michaels is 1A.

TO each his own. Flair seemed to work the same basic match for about 15 years though. It worked, so it made sense, but Michael's creativity in the rin and the psychology is just insane. I can't really fauly HBK for never going to WCW. He tried a few times and was unsuccesful in getting out of his contract. You can make a case that doing it all under one company is more impressive.

Plus, HBK never held the book either. Flair was able to book himself into the top spot for awhile, which meants he could choose the right opponents and have the longer matches. Something that HBK didn't hae the luxury of doing.

Flair's heel is probably more widely known, but I don't know if I have ever seen more pure hatred for a man (other than wihen Hogan joined the NWO), then when HBK humped the canadian flag and stuck it up his nose, while in Canada. The dude was hitting all the right buttons.

Either way, both of those guys are amazing and have made me shake my head in amazement many a time.

not entirely true about the booking; while he didn't have sole control, both he and HHH were on the 4 man booking "committee" with Pat Patterson and Jerry Brisco for the entire year leading up to the Montreal Screwjob, which i had never realized before reading Bret Hart's book.

not sure how long beyond that HBK was booking though, as i have just gotten to that part of the book. it has always been my understanding that since before the screwjob and even thru the present time (to a lesser degree), refused to work with and/or put over people he thought were "beneath" him, and even people who were not.

as for HBK and Taker, everyone will say once again that HBK stole the show, etc., and undervalue the Undertaker's work. nobody in the business ever carried so many fat shlubs as the Undertaker, for as long, then turn around and have amazing matches with top tier guys that are smaller. to be as good as he is, and also be 6'9 and 300 pounds is amazing.

I don't know if people undervalue what Taker brings to the table in terms of ability. To me, Undertaker will retire as the best working big man in the business ... and he was unleashing cruiserweight moves last night. That suicide plancha was insane.

When motivated he's clearly above his other "skyscraper" peers (Sid, Nash, Kane, etc.) in terms of what he does in the wrestling ring.

Kane is close, IMO, in terms as a worker, but in terms as a superstar, few match Takers lasting power, he has been around for along time, and shows very little wear and tear. He has had his fair share of injuries but he has bounced back from them nicely.

That reason that match was so good was because it was HBK and The Undertaker. You take Taker out the match is decent, same with HBK. They both seem to have great matches even with decent wrestlers. Example, Taker-Mark Henry match at WM was good because taker carrying Henry. He also put on a great match with Batista at WM a few years a go, in which Taker made that match better than it could have been.

The thing what sucks with the undertaker is the fact that he is so good on the mic and in the ring, but they don't use him on the mic nearly as much as they should. That is why i liked his Bad *** angle. We got to see him on the mic more.

Finally saw the Michaels/Taker WM match via youtube. Great great match. Definitely a top 10, and possibly top 5 WM match ever. Both HBK and Taker are lucky they didn't kill themselves on those floor bumps. Especially the Undertaker, as it looked like the camera man (Sim Snuka) was too far away. There were a few minor blown spots (all of them by the Undertaker) but hey the finish was great. I would have bet anything that the first tombstone was going to be the finish but glad it wasn't.

As for top big men in wrestling, yeah the Undertaker probably gets the nod eventhough I'm willing to bet if Brock Lesnar stayed with the WWE he would have put out more 5 star matches. I'm surprised no one mentioned both Vader and Bam Bam Bigalow as those big guys could really more and did put on some classic matches.

You almost have to feel bad for Dustin, his dad was a legend, and now his younger brother is getting a bigger push then he ever has AS an actual Rhodes family member, and he always seems to find his way back to the Goldie character.
