Rusev's next opponent should probably be Sheamus and have him win the US title. Makes sense and with Rusev getting that monster push it will maybe help the title some.

Watched the ECW episode of MNW. Series is starting to drag a bit now as they're repeating a lot of stuff that's been on previous ECW DVDs and past episodes of the MNW. The episode was also basically a "WCW stole ECW talent" for half the episode and like 5 minutes focused on the WWE signing Tazz and the Dudleys just before ECW started on TNN. I mean they spend a good 10 minutes on WCW "stealing" Guerrero and Malenko but don't even talk about the WWE signing Austin and Mick Foley. They talk about WCW signing Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Guerrera, Sandman and Mike Awesome but nothing about Shane Douglas or Raven jumping to the WWE or Saturn or others to WCW. Or the WWE letting ECW use guys like Al Snow who were still under WWE contracts, then taking them back when their act got hot. Or letting them use Justin Credible. They didn't even talk about how Heyman stole Sabu back from WCW in 1995. They obviously skip over Benoit so yeah I don't think they're going to talk about the Radicalz jumping which pretty much was the death strike to WCW. Just kind of a weird episode where they left a lot out and just used a lot of recycled stuff.

Also I'm not one to complain about the WWE being TV PG but why all of a sudden do they censor the blood with going to a black and white screen? They used to put out two different verison of the episode, one that's PG and one that's normal but they stopped doing that for some reason. Just kind of annoying, just make the episode, if it has blood or swears on it, TV 14 or TV MA.

According to dirtsheets, Brock and Cena are NOT scheduled for a rematch at HIAC. Not sure if Brocks off, or if they have other plans (lol big show title shot?)

But it NEEDS to be Ambrose/Rollins mainevent. Reigns is hurt....only makes sense. Build these guys!!!

Yeah Ambrose/Rollins HiTC certainly makes sense however I have a funny feeling it's going to be Cena & Ambrose vs. Orton, Rollins and maybe Kane in the Cell for some reason which will lead to Orton's face turn.

I agree but that's what it looks like on Monday. I'm just glad Ambrose didn't buddy buddy up with Cena on Monday like Reigns has done.

Ambrose reminds me of the joker, and always has. I always thought he was the star of the shield, and hopefully the WWE sees it

Its obvious the fans want Ambrose to be the biggest star while the WWE wants Reigns to be the guy. Rollins, unfortunately has always been the one kind of left out which is why they picked him to turn on the group or he would have been lost in mid-card hell but the guy is super talented. Frankly there's room for all 3 guys to be could stars, all depends on how the WWE books them.

Ambrose / Reigns can be the Austin/ Rock faces.....as Rollins or Brock is the HHH heel....theres plenty of room. Can't wait to see how this goes!

I don't know that's raising the bar pretty darn high. I mean who knows but you're trying to compare them to two of the biggest draws in wrestling history and say what you want about Triple H but he was a good draw himself back in the day. I think the WWE would do back flips if The Shield guys did even a quarter of business/success Austin, Rock and Triple H did.

I didn't mean to compare them apples to apples....I meant to use the example of having multiple top faces and a top heel in the business. By no means am I thinking they'll compare in terms of the business, sales, pushes etc.

Just that there is enough room at the top if done right.

Gotcha. And yes there's TONS of room at the top. After Cena, Orton, Bryan and Brock ,when he's around, who else is really a main eventer? The WWE mid card is pretty solid but extremely light at the top. Now is absolutely the time to build guys up, build the IC and US titles up to make them meaningful since the WWE title isn't on every TV show or PPV.

    Well this is certainly interesting:

Right now the plans for the HiTC PPV is this:
John Cena will face Dean Ambrose in the opening match. The winner of that match will face Seth Rollins in a HiTC match while the loser will face Randy Orton in a HiTC match.

Brock Lesnar isn't scheduled to be booked for the show.

While I think it's way too soon to book a Ambrose/Cena match, it's certainly interesting although would be surprised if Cena didn't win that match even though it's probably more important to start to book Ambrose strong.

Also Jericho mentioned on his latest podcast that his original opponent at NOC was suppose to be Seth Rollins but Vince changed his mind and put him with Orton instead. Personally I wish the Jericho/Rollins match happened instead.

I guess the Kofi/Big E/Woods group is back on again. Their name will be Speed Force. Good thing the WWE creative team had months to think of that gem.

That's not bad, but I kind of picture this happening:

Vince "Kofi is the one the small guy? He's quick and does jumps off the top rope right?"
    Triple H "Yes Vince."
Vince "And Big E, he's the big one with big muscles and is strong right?"
    Triple H "Yes Vince."
Vince "Now which one is Xaiver Woods?"
    Triple H "He's the..."
Vince "Doesn't matter dammit. Kofi is the quick one, he's got the speed. Big E is powerful and when he hits guys it hurts because of the force of his moves. Call them Speed Force. It's perfect. Your winners and NEEEEEEW WWE Tag Team Champions John Cena."

Triple H to Stephanie "Really? I liked The New New Nation much better."

Assuming they're going with the "not getting their rightful opportunities" angle, there are definitely better names.

    -The Upstarts
    -The Takeover
    -The Revolution
    -The New Chapter

    Just sayin'

There is like a Zero possibility that the WWE turns this Big E/Xwoods/Kofi thing into a racist bit?

I might be overthinking it, but Speed Force sounds like an homage to Strike Force, the old Rick Martel/Tito Santana tag team in the 80's. Why an all black trio would remind and pay homage to a Mexican/Canadian tag team from 30 years ago, remains a mystery.

They should just call them the Blackbirds and be done with it. Southern wrestling fans will understand why.

Also, seems like The Wyatt's are breaking up to a degree. At least, it seems they are sending Luke Harper out on his own.

Seems like a mistake. Also seems like the WWE doesn't have anything planned or knows what to do with the Wyatts right now.

Yup. What exactly have the Wyatts really done lately that was even considered bad or evil? That's the whole problem with the WWE, outside of The Miz, Heyman, Rusev and The Authority you don't have any true heels. You either have guys like Cesaro who don't do anything bad but we're told to boo them or you have guys that are suppose to be bad but try to be cool. The Wyatts should be doing old school heel tactics instead of singing to the crowd. They should be cheating to win, etc.

I'd love to see the Wyatts be like the shield.....but with the Faces of the company. Jumping them back stage before big title matches, following them around, standing around the ring, interupting matches etc

and not just Bryan.....not JUST Cena....all of them. Make a mockery of the "good guys"....bring them out of their shell. Go against the grain. Joker to batman.

Bell rings, big match.....immediately jump in the ring and smash one of them with a chair.....ruin the match, ruin their opportunity....with no pattern or rhyme or reason....build up this huge match, and have it ruined immediately....destroy the mold.

Caught the end of RAW, liked how the WWE is really going all out trying to make Ambrose into a star. I really think the WWE should let Ambrose use the Stone Cold Stunner as a finisher though, I think it would really help push his character as the "Dirty Deeds" is kind of eh.

I think HiTC should be Ambrose's coming out party, he absolutely needs to beat Cena there and really a win against Rollins would be great too.

I actually didn't see that live. I saw the opening interview with Rollins (was it me or did he mess up and say WWF with the F being cut and the sound going silent for a second) and then everything from the Divas match or The Miz/Sheamus match (which ever went on first) to the close.

Apparently the reason why the WWE is putting Erick Rowan and Luke Harper on their own is because the WWE wants to pair Bray with The Ascension when they come up. Still think it's a mistake and if they want to add The Ascension to the group that's fine, you don't have to cut Bray's ties with Rowan and Harper too. Just have them wrestle as singles guys from now on.

IT was awesome. Watch it if you can....Rock got (of course) a ginormous pop....and verbally assaulted both lana and rusev. Moscow Mooseknuckles, and smirnoff bottle in her putin....was the best lines imo.

Best line was when Lana set him up by asking him "who he thought he was to interrupt them in this rude fashion." (Big mistake Lana)

He of course launched into his "Jabroni Beating..(pointed at Rusev), Pie Eating (pointed at Lana)....etc..etc..etc...

During his segment, there was a "*******, *******, *******", chant for Lana and Rusev, and a "Holy ****" chant for Rock. It was as if the attitude era came back for a 8 minute segment. Awesome.

It is and it isn't. I mean I generally don't like seeing jobbers in the Rumble or comedy spots with the announcers or Hornswoggle. Would rather the WWE get 30 solid wrestlers with maybe 10 of them that realistically have a shot at winning in there instead of giving guys like Health Slater, Otunga, Darren Young, The Bunny etc a spot but that's just me. And like Samphin says, and I agree, the Rumble isn't the best time to introduce debuting or new talent as they generally get zero to no reaction from the crowd and it doesn't really do anything to help their character.

Usually the Rumbles that are loaded up with top talent are the Rumbles that are the best.
