I must admit, the Kane thing at the end held my interest. I think the character is one that can go so many ways and I suppose I will always pay attention if they plan on doing something with him.

I think having him beat up on Cole was stupid. Everyone hates Cole so unless the point was to get him a face pop, it was stupid. Lawler, you knew was going to get the save and beat down, but they could have done it so much better.

A: Have him beat the ever loving hell out of Cena, to the point where officials and medical types come out and Kane just wastes them too and finally just takes his frustrations out on the nearest person (Lawler) to end the show.

However, it appears that Cena and JBL are on a collision course so that probably wouldn't be the direction to go.

B: Have him grab Lillian at ringside and rough her up the same way he did Cole. Throw her into the ring, step on her foot and just be a psychotic destroyer. As he goes to pick her up, Lawler does his thing and gets wasted just like he did. People would boo him if he grabbed Lillian, not Cole.

The quesiton of whether he is "alive or dead" is an interesting one and can go many ways. My initial reaction was that he was talking about his "brother," The Undertaker, which would be interesting so most likely won't happen.

I then thoguht perhaps he meant Paul Bearer his "father" but I am not sure Bearer is even healthy enough to go out on the road and peform so that is probably a dead end. Then I tought he might be talking about Vince and his "accident." Which could be intruiging but probably isn't it either.

More than likely he is probably talking about the Undertaker or himself. I think it would be cool to see Kane continue on this warpath (seeing as how there is no one running Raw, who can stop him?) until one night he has someone cornered (maybe Lillian?) and the lights go out, the gong hits and when they come back on, Undertaker is in the ring looking at his brother.

The place would go ape**** and it would be a cool moment. I am not sure where I would go from there, but I think I like the idea of them algining as a heel Brothers of Destruction. Maybe UT stares down his brother who still has Lillian (or someone else) in the choke position, grabs said person and chokeslams them himself.

Then he beckons Kane to follow him out of the ring and Kane does. They leave the arena and beat up the announcer who tries to interview UT on the way out. They never say a word they just throw him into the wall and keep moving.

the week after maybe UT comes out and explains that he has let his priorities get out of place. Blood is thicker than water and right now, Kane needs his help and guidance. UT kind of takes on more of a managerial role only sometimes teaming with Kane as Kane develops back into the monster he is. It would be cool to see Kane come out in all black, A subtle but needed change to his attire and perhaps even let his hair grow out some.

Oh and Raw was once again, off kilter when it came to pacing. I don't know what it is, but they seem to be cutting to commercials at weird times. The Michaels-Jericho faceoff lacked some sizzle for once and ended with them looking at each other and then a cut to commercial. No hyping the match going into the break, no attacks to lead into break, heck HBK didn't even acknolwedge Cade's presence which was odd.

Unless Cade uses that next week and shows it as proof that HBK is arrogant and only thinking of himself and case in point, he was ignored last week. I think that could work and even lead to a nice gimmick for Cade where he refuses to "be ignored." He can butt in on seemingly random matches to show how he won't be ignored and set up fueds on his own that way since it seems that his association with Jericho appears to be short lived.

Raw was just a mish mash tonight though. I kind of enjoyed the limo destruction but it would have been better if it was shorter in length and happened at the begnning of the show. Having an entire segment dedicated to it in the middle just seemed odd and out of place to me.

The fan "run-in" was funny due to Batista perfect reaction to it, even if it was planned. I liked what Raw was trying to accomplish in giving an anything can happen feel to it. If it was real though, rest assured that Batista would have pummeled the kid way before he got into his little show.

The WWE could do random things like that going forward though, Have a "fan" hop the rail during amtach and get nailed by a wrestler and hauled off. Do it so that it looks legit. People talk about that type of stuff and look for it going forward.

Have another plant pelt the ring with garbage when a heel is out talking. These viral things can help set off a nice atmosphere overall. Plus, I think it would be cool if an overall theme for Raw is that the machine starts to break down (security breaches, cars getting destroyed, wrestlers running amok ala Kane) when there is no one to keep them in check.

Have the show slowly but consistantly start to have more and more problems like unruly fans, production issues and timing issues (maybe these last two Raws were planned to be like this?) until it finally comes to a head and someone has to step forward and put a stop to it.

Enter King Regal, freshly back from suspension and ready to restore order...his way.

Kane needs to ditch the half shaved/half buzz cut look. It seriously drives me crazy. I agree that it's probably time for his character to be repackaged.

ECW has become a modern day OVW, nothing more. You get the same caliber show, if not actually better at house shows. Braden Walker, are you kidding me? What a lame name. Wasn't Chris Harris his real name for gods sake? Evan Bourne? Why cant he go by...I dont know Matt Sydel? The show is terrible....if there was something better to do at 10:00 pm on a Tues. I might do it. Henry the champion? Please...

I think it has something to do with marketing...

I kinda wish they let Matt Sydal use his real name. That way you could get creative with his finishers' names. The Shooting Star Press could be the SuiSydal Press. And that inverted pumple-handle slam he does at Japan could be the HomiSydal Slam.

The reason for the name changes is simple. The WWE wants to own the copyrights to the characters names. It is a legal issue more than anything else. They feel that if the promote, pay and let the performer get rich and notoriety on their watch, then that performer shouldn't be able to exploit that later on at the indy or even rival company level.

There are some obvious exceptions. John Cena, Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin and Brock Lesnar come to mind. Guys like Raven, Sting, Sabu and others that have been able to use the same name over the course of their career are a dieing breed in that they own the trademarks themselves and thus, can use them whereever they want.

TNA did the same thing in changing some of their talents names as well. Austin Aries became Austin Starr, for example.

the whole new kane storyline could be interesting, I hope it has to do with Paul Berra, have him come back with taker and have the ministry fraction start up agian or have Taker and Kane team up and become unstoppable which leads to a betrayal bye Kane or taker, then have Kane vs Taker for World Title at WM and have Kane win. He could have a title run and taker would retire

if Percy (Paul Bearer) comes back it would have to be as a short term thing. i don't think his health is too good from what i recall.

but they could use him short term, then run a storyline and bring in the recently unemployed James Mitchell to facilitate a turn on the other by either Taker or Kane, with Mitchell as a heel manager and mouthpiece.

Brian Christopher has no one but himself to blame for being unemployed. He has talent but his drug habits make him untouchable to a company like the WWE.

I think you mean JOEY Styles, not A.J.

and you guys are wrong, Tazz is good at what he is supposed to do. He is the color guy, not the play by play man. Mike Adamle is SO lost out there that he literally just sits there and refuses to say anything. That forces Tazz to have to try to fill in the gaps and extend himself beyond where his expertise is.

Tazz with Cole and Styles was probably the best color guy in the business. Tazz with Adamle is awful, but it isn't because of Tazz.

Adamle screws up every week. He called Nunzio a two time ECW champion which Tazz had to correct. He screws up people's names each week which Tazz has to correct. You can hear it in Tazz's voice, he is getting annoyed by Adamle's constant screw ups.

I think they should bring back Styles as well. All this new talent for Styles to prop up would be great. I also wouldn't mind seeing Tazz team with JR as I think those two could have a ton of chemistry right off the bat to be honest.

Joey Styles was one of the best color commentators in the biz. The fact that he did it on his own and held your interest speaks volumes.

Rock definitely. Austin not so much for me, esp. towards the end, he was a great entertainer, but he got bitter and started taking his frustrations out on his family and co workers, and it showed in his work, IMO. I did enjoy the whole alliance saga with him, and the jealousy thing with Vince and Kurt was classic.
