Jericho needs to just leave Punk alone  the angle is pretty lame but beyond that he just isn't cutting promos the way he used to.

Punk "injures" Christian. Christian is out of the tag match. Thoughts on replacement?

Stupid decision. McIntyre hasn't been important for years, but he's one of Ace's "boys" in real life. Its too bad someone like Christian, after all his time with the WWE can't land WM spot. Hopefully it leads to him interfering in the Punk/Jericho match and thus getting to work a program with Punk after his feud with Jericho but that's complete wishful thinking on my part. It probably just means the WWE isn't serious about pushing Christian anymore and will likely be used in the "Chavo Guerrero/Goldust" role or helping to enhance talent.

Prince Albert aka Albert aka A-Train, used to wrestle in the WWF/E in the late 90s/early 00s.

Nope but The Sultan wasn't Middle Eastern, Kwang wasn't really Japanese, Adam Bomb wasn't really from Three Mile Island, The Ultimate Warrior really was from Parts Unknown, Yokozuna wasn't Japanese, I could go on and on and on.

I figured Albert wasn't asian but from the context of the posting I had to wonder.

Gotcha. Harlem Heat weren't from Harlem either. This could actually be a fun but very long game we could play here.

Why does Cena always feel the need to refer to the rocks *****? He talks about it as much as The Rock now.

I just don't understand why his song goes: Your time is up, my time is now, you cant see me.

If his time is now why can't I see him? Cause it sounds a lot cooler than it really is.

Oh man I wish he would have left it off with "On a personal level, I just don't like you." that was so well delivered.

Wow Cena failed with that "It doesn't matter what you think"

He could have used it if he had used it properly within context of the way it is usually used and delivered it well. He just said it so fast as if he wasn't sure whether it would go over or not.

Maybe he's legitimately injured again. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense pulling him for an inferior performer.

It's a 12 man tag, you can hide an injured wrestler in a match like that pretty easily (which is why there was so much speculation that Del Rio was going to be involved in the match if he could). If he was fine/healthy enough getting the crap kicked out of him by Punk than he's probably fine tagging in throwing a few punches or other small moves, then tagging himself out and staying on the apron.

If he somehow got injured during the Punk match (although I doubt it as the WWE naming a replacement very quickly during the show and Punk cutting a promo about injuring Christian just seemed to flow too well) I don't understand why the WWE would rush to name a replacement so quickly like that, they could have waited to run tests and see how Christian felt the day of the show considering it was 6 days away and there's no reason to rush judgement. They could have announced it on WWE.com or something like that as major breaking news.

I bet he either failed a Wellness test or he's going to be involved in the Jericho/Punk match.

I actually think it would make more sense for him to lose. If Cena wins then what? What does he gain accept saying he beat The Rock? He's already mega over and is the WWE's Superman. If he loses there's a million ways you can take his character. With WM being in Miami and the rumors of Rock/Cena facing each other at Summer Slam, I say Rock wins in his hometown.

CM Punk continues to bash The Rock. He said in a recent radio interview that he doesn't hate The Rock but doesn't have much of a relationship with him. He said he's offended that The Rock gets so much credit for last year's WM buyrate when the credit really should go to the wrestlers who are out there every day, credit shouldn't go to just one guy (which is completely laughable as The Rock brought in tons of extra buys for that show when he didn't even wrestle on it). He then states that the numbers state that The Rock hasn't done much else, like the Survivor Series buyrate.

Personally I think CM Punk talks too much, especially bashing The Rock because of buyrates when he's been the WWE Champion during that time and whether its fair or not usually those numbers fall on the shoulders of the champion. One can easily make the case that CM Punk hasn't done much of anything to move or change the numbers for the better either. While yes the Survivor Series numbers were extremely disappointing, I think more of it had to do with the actual build of the Rock/Cena vs. Awesome Truth match as no one believed (and rightfully so) that Awesome Truth had a chance to win. If anything the writers were to blame for the poor numbers as they dropped the ball for that event big time. Also it would have been interesting to see what the numbers would have been if The Rock hadn't been wrestling as a CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio title match don't scream box office success. So while yes Punk is half right that The Rock hasn't delivered a big draw for the Survivor Series, The Rock brought in tons of extra buys for WM last year and will this year too as THE money match is him vs. Cena.

IDk I love Punk and The Rock. Honestly I think Punk is just hurt that someone he probably looked up to at some point and one of the best ever in the business walked away from the thing that Punk himself loves so much. He can talk if he wants to, he did what he said he would and made the WWE Championship interesting again. Buy rates in my opinion will go nowhere except down when it is so easy to watch for free.

There's more to it than PPV buy rates, they go by those, TV ratings, and house show gates. Since Punk caught fire in the summer he's done little to those numbers except for spike in the MiTB PPV buy rate.

Rock was out there every day when Punk was still a skinny teenager getting his picture taken with Stone Cold. I just don't get why Punk feels the need to keep going after the Rock for this. I really enjoy watching Punk but he's off the mark on this one. The extra attention a guy like the Rock brings to WWE is good for a guy like Punk. It gives him more exposure as well. In January 2011 I had no idea who CM Punk was. I hadn't tuned into a WWE program since 2002, 2003 or so. I hear the Rock has returned and I tune in for the first time in years. Now I watch again [though not religiously like in the 90s] and not only do I know who CM Punk is but I'm a fan.

My point was mainly just that I don't really care about numbers like those. There is far more to it than one man, it has to do with the entire package WWE provides. I only care about match quality, which Punk has given me beyond what anyone else has in the last...however long it has been since he gained #1 contender status. I guarantee if the WWE had more quality performers like Punk all of their numbers would go up. Instead I get to watch Epico vs Big Show on Raw. Who the F wants to see that kind of stuff?

Yup I agree. I like CM Punk too but he comes off as jealous here because Rock is getting all the attention and not him, the WWE Champion. I just don't him he (or others in the back) realize that The Rock is actually helping them by showing up. He's not taking anyone's spot, he's coming in for a match here and there and in the process making them richer.

I really do think Punk needs a filter. Between he's comments about The Rock and him randomly going after Chris Brown for beating up a woman, yet Punk himself is a hypocrite because he consistently tweets back and forth with Steve Austin (a known woman beater) it just seems like Punk just likes hearing his own voice and wants to say things to get the headlines.

While I agree with you unfortunately that's not the way the business works, which again is a shame. I'd rather watch two random guys put on a great match rather than big name guys putting up a stinker. But the WWE is in love with big guys with big muscles who can't work or are limited in their skills, which is why someone like The Great Khali still has a job while someone like John Morrison is currently unemployed. Or why the WWE will keep giving Kane or Big Show push after push but someone like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk or Eddie Guerrero had to work extra hard to get over to get a push.

Good news/bad news for Randy Orton fans/haters. Orton will be gone this summer filming the sure to be blockbuster hit The Marine 3 so we won't have to see him on TV for a few months. The bad news is I'm sure once he comes back he'll immediately win the World Title to help promote his crappy movie. One can only hope his career will turn out as well as Ted DiBiase's did after he filmed The Marine 2.

I think Randy Orton is capable of so much more than he delivers in ring. I almost feel like he just half asses his matches now to a degree and lives off of his name and popularity.

    Just my two cents.

thats exactly why i did not think it was injury related. Look at Edge at WM a few years ago. He was hurt so he wrestled for a little bit in the MITB and then just stayed down for the remainder of the match

He's actually gotten much better as a worker but he's had a lot of injuries throughout the years, especially this year so perhaps he doesn't give it his all always. I'm just kind of sick of the whole Orton/Cena show each week so I'm just glad the guy will be away for a week months because if he didn't get hurt earlier this year he would be your Smackdown World Champion right now and Daniel Bryan would probably be in the meaningless 12 man tag match.
