Look at his numbers while he was here.
They had a chance to beat the Pats today...held them to a low score...obviously tougher than we previously thought...especially considering all the problems we have showing their ugly head.
This was pretty good as well.
He did fine when Moore was starting...
"I quit." Would have been appropriate.
Is in way over his head.
Leave it to a Dolphins fan to say something like this. It's funny how much more successful WR's are with above average QB play, isn't it? Who would have thought?
Was thinking the same thing... and wondering if it had to do with Lazor working on his mechanics and footwork. Until this season, Tannehill had the same QBC and OC for 5 straight years. Now he's being coached to change and break habits... but really, he just lacks the intangibles needed to advance.
He's talking to the media... That's the kind of **** he's suppose to say. You don't hang players and coaches out to dry in public. Fans are far too stupid to understand that. Look at Sparano. Say what you wish about him, but he always covered for everyone. It's what you do as an NFL coach. It's what is expected. You don't feed the media. You handle business internally.
**** matt moore he's the reason we don't have luck right now!
I'm fully aware of that. There's no culpability in him related to anything other than Brian Hartline's penalty. At some point he's gotta step up and take the blame. He doesn't.

Dolphins locker room cleared out quickly. Probably half the team was gone by the time the media showed up.
While it's coach speak to the media, that still about sums up Joe Philbin, and That about sums up the biggest problem with our team IMO.
At that point, there was no reason to take the final timeout. The game was lost. Let the clock run. It was bush league by Walrus Boy.
Yes, shame on him for trying his best.
Ask Steve Ross how he feels about that. Off the record, of course.
If they wanted Luck bad enough, they should have benched Moore and signed Cleo Lemon to QB the rest of the season.
LO f'n L
He should of said:
I am sorry, I let all of you down. The loss today is my fault and I am going to fix it.
A little self accountability is called for and he never offers any.

One #Dolphins player tells me "it isn't time to clean house yet but guys are on notice."
I said this in another thread.....
This team is 1-4 in the last 5 games, while being outscored 122-65. We got half of those 65 points in 1 of those 5 games.
That is wretched. Breaking 20 points 1 time in the last 5 games is dreadful. It would certainly appear that the team is regressing.
Trusnick makes Wheeler look like Derrick Brooks. Just ugly performance by the LB's today and Tannehill.
Ouch lol I wonder how much power Hickey has, will Ross veto any moves for it won't hinder the next front office/coaching staff and just let the season play out?
Oh it's going to be a very long season. Bad thing I expect us to still hover around 7-8 wins. I am done with Tannehill. I just can't believe in him anymore. Hopefully he figures it out, but I'm done at this point. Year three and he still doesn't get it. DONE.
This will prove to be an epic setback for us. I expect this team to be bad untik it finds a QB that can win some games and lead this team.
Some of that is scheme by Coyle. Matching up strength and covering weakness. Coyle keeps getting it backwards.
The fact that people are even answering that question should be enough to tell you what's up.
His third year and dude looks lost out there. Horrible throws, panics in the pocket, still holding on to the ball too long. What's Pat Devlin up to?
I don't know but Hickey has to realize with Marino judging everyone that the longer he lets Philbin drive his train off the bridge he might not see next season. And at this point I can't think of one reason Ross would want to continue this.
Yep, Philbin has lost the players
Why change the head coach unless we have the guy whom we and everyone else want, not a third or fourth choice like Philbin whom no one wanted? Same with Hickey: A third or fourth choice for whom we settled. If we fire Philbin or Hickey and replace them with someone similar, we will have fixed nothing. Hold on to them and let them do their best until someone worlds better becomes available and shows an interest. They are just place holders and I'll bet they know it.
Ouch. That's not a good sign for Philbin. If they loose to Oakland, he's probably going to loose this team completely.
There's nothing Coyle can do about ability, and none of our linebackers have ability to play their positions at a high level. Not trying to make excuses for the guy but I knew the Chiefs would score on us today, at the very least 24 points. As soon as Davis gets off the first level, he's matched up against very poor linebackers and he will win that battle more often than not, and that applies to every running back we're going to face for the remainder of the season.
I don't even think our defense played that bad though. Our offense was pathetic, Miller was the only one that showed up and I don't even like that guy as a football player but he played very well today. Should have kept feeding him the ball maybe.
This season is going to be a major embarrassment for Steve Ross.
I still remember some calling Philbin an offensive genius.
Why do you all feel the need to point out what someone thought? Does it make you feel somehow smarter...like your some kind of football expert?
I know it's bad because Rocky said there was no defending Philbin.
