it will only become a rivalry when the games matter. Next year, when we are contenders...it will be a good rivalry. Now..we are just a bug that buzzes around you and every once and a while you squash us. In the playoffs..we can win 2 games against you and that's it. NOT a rivalry. You guys are clear cut better and it is not close. Till next year. I had my hopes up though when you got Vince Carter. But then I remembered that you still have Howard, Rashard, Nelson, etc...
Ok fine. Not a great rivalry but it's still good competion and next year should really tighten things up.
Epic block by Dwight. Ron Artest looks like a Dennis Rodman wannabe. Rashard Lewis is raw. Kobe is weak sauce. Magic by 10. End of 3.
I know the playoffs are getting near. I'm starting to feel my blood pressure rise when watching the officiating of an NBA game.
We are #1!! For this week anyways. Could it be that this whole title chase is more up for grabs than everybody thought? The undisputed biggest threat to Cleveland in the East just dropped the mighty Lakers to 5-8 against the other five division leaders. http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings?year=2010&week=19
Not really. Before the season..these teams were the only ones with a real chance at the Larry Obrien. Cleveland Orlando Boston Lakers Nuggets Now the list is paired down to this list with one team added: Cleveland Orlando Lakers Nuggets Mavs
So cool to see Kobe frustrated at the end of the game against L.A. We can take those guys. Had a GREAT Game against the Lakers, and an even better one against the Clippers, but, that's not saying much @ 25-39. Let's keep rolling through the month, guys, we've got 'Da Bulls @ home Thursday night, 8pm. We're looking good for the playoffs. MAGIC!!
I think it goes without saying (but im gonna say it anyway). I hope we play Chicago in round 1. Magic ****ing smashed them tonight.
Nice job against the Spurs tonight, Magic are rolling in the final push to the playoffs. Glad we've already got a spot! Next up is the Miami Heat tomorrow night. They always give us a hard time.
They asked a great question at halftime tonight. It's one that I was thinking about earlier today. Which team is better? Orlando this year, or Orlando last year? Very different teams. I think this years team is better. Sure we don't have Hedo or Lee. But Vince is coming on strong, and I like our depth of bigs this year. Also, Reddick is proving valuable. I'll take this year's team. Not to mention Dwight is better.
I think we're a lot better, regardless of letting the Heat come back from 12 points down at the end of this one.
The refs sucked all around tonight. They would screw Orlando...then they would screw us to even it out... it was a great game..but the refs ruined it IMO. Good game Orlando..good series this year.
wow, just realized the Magic have a better record on the road (21-14) than the Heat have at home (20-16).
we have sucked all year at home till the last 6 games. we have lost 4 games in the last shot and now an overtime game too boot.
I caught the first half of the Orl/Phi game last night. Magic were totally off in the first half, but Philly sucks so badly that they couldn't take advantage of it. Long story short...win #50. W00T!
A last second loss last night against the Hawks, but we're still 4 games ahead of them. The Hawks are officially in the playoffs now. Friday night it's the Minnesota Timberwolves, with a 14-58 record.
Great win and play by JJ Redick tonight. He logged 46 mins tonight in place of Carter who sprained his big toe. Ryan Anderson was on fire as well. 4 day rest coming up.
