A tough loss, coming back like that and losing barely. It was over when the ball hit the back of Pietrus foot with less than a minute to go. To come back from 19 down and be ahead so close to the end, and lose, is a real kick in the balls. Congrats to the last team unbeaten at home. We're 17-6.
Seems like it's been awhile since our Magic got a win, but it's only been 6 days Needed one after the last two games of the road trip, and got one tonight with a 106-98 game over the Pacers. Let's get keep it going with Hedo & the Raptors coming to town Wed night @ 7pm.
I was curious as to how Turkoglu would be acknowledged, sounded like a mix of good and bad. Looking forward to the instate matchup tomorrow night in Miami. It's on TNT and I hope it's as exciting as the last one in Orlando.
You guys should kick our *** tonight. Since Kobe hit that miracle shot, the team has gone right in the toilet. Wade is playing like crap and the only guys we have playing good is Beasley and Dorrell Wright. I will be shocked if we beat you tonight. You guys should have an easy time.
We're not in a rhythm right now. Heat are working us at this point, hitting shots all over the place. We'll see how it goes in the 2nd half.
That was freakin' pitiful. Terrible 3 point shooting and no urgency. Hats off to the Heat for playing like they wanted to win. We'll see what happens with Portland Saturday night.
Sorry guys... We see Vince Carter on the other side and we see blood. The Heat over the last 5 years is something crazy like 31-6 against Vince Carter. Kinda weird. I was shocked that we played this well. See you guys down the road.
Magic 86, Heat 104 Game Recap Box Score Game observations/thoughts: 1. No body came to play tonight except Dwight, no energy or hustle from anyone else. 2. Orlando's team defense is absolutely horrid right now, Miami ran a lay-up drill all night(Dwight can only do so much). 3. Good game by the Heat, definitely wanted it more than the Magic did. 4. Did I mention the effort by the Magic was horrible tonight.
Didn't get to see the game, but I saw the score at the end. 92-83 Magic! Apparently the guys went on an 11-0 run towards the end and never looked back. Hope to get some redemption against the Mormon Jazz on Monday. 20-6
Solid win tonight. And I love the way J.J Redick is playing. His confidence should be at an all time high right now.
Trail Blazers 83, Magic 92 Game Recap Box Score Game observations/thoughts: 1. We already know this, but Dwight's a beast [ 12pts, 20rebs, 4blocks] 2. Matt Barnes, his game might not always be pretty, but he's one of those "scrappy" players that all winning teams need. Barnes was good defensively tonight, and had like three critical offensive rebounds/put-backs tonight. 3. Overall defense was better tonight, perimeter defense still is a little shaky. 4. JJ Redick played well tonight, hope he keeps it up, his offense provides a spark off the bench.
Beat the Mormon Jazz tonight 104-99. Anybody know what Jason Williams said to get ejected in the 3rd quarter?
I went from HATING J.J Redick, to loving him. The way he turned his NBA career around is incredible. If only Ted Ginn can do the same for Miami, lol.
Rockets 87, Magic 102 Game Recap Box Score Game observations/thoughts: 1. Turnovers: this team really needs to take better care of the basketball, 12-15 turnovers a game will make it tough come playoff time. 2. Dwight's a beast, I just wish they would give him more touches on offense. 3. Other than that, good game by the Magic tonight. Also of note:
Interesting win against the Rockets at home, the last one in Orlando was in '02. Next game is on X-mas day when Boston comes to town. We'll see how well the Celtics play without Paul Pierce in that one, he's out for the next two weeks after getting his knee drained.
I've also heard KG might miss as well, if Boston is without Pierce, and KG they should get obliterated by Orlando.
It looks like Garnett will play today, and they'll need all the help they can get without team leader Pierce in the game. Not a big fan of them at all so I wouldn't mind a blowout. It's on @ 2:30 on ABC. Let's go Magic!
Here's the important thing: (From game recap) This loss sucks, but it only counts as one loss, Orlando will be ready for rounds three, and four.
Magic 93, Bulls 101 Game Recap Box Score Game observations/thoughts: 1. SVG is still trying to find a rotation that works consistently on the offensive, and defensive end(not good). 2. Dwight, Vince, Jameer, and Shard need to step it up, so this team can be more consistent. 3. I think Ryan Anderson should be starting at the four, move Shard over to the three. Anderson is the only player that will help Dwight board, and play defense underneath, instead of standing around, and watching D12 work.
Or how about giving Brandon Bass a chance to start? He's the type of player we need to start at the 4. I don't know why he isn't getting minutes.
Or that, I just said Anderson, because it still gives SVG that "stretch-four" he covets. I've been hearing the reason Bass isn't getting more minutes because he has issues remembering plays, don't know how true it is.
Hopefully things will go better @ 7pm tonight in Indiana. The Pacers have only won ten games, but we've already proven that no matter what the team's record is, we can always find a way to beat ourselves.
