I really don't see not one promising prospect in this latest TUF season. Last year..Mac Danzig was great..you could see how he could be a contender. This year...well...the fighters suck.
Yeah I like him, he's my pick to win. Although I will say his first fight lasted alot longer than I thought it would.
I think the best fighter in the house is the black guy that lost in the first round of fights. He was dominating the fight, slamming his opponent all over the place. The fight was stopped (and it probably should have been) but the guy was protesting the whole time that he was conscious and just resting.
Definitely, always like seeing Lawler and Baroni in action. Carrano should be interesting as well. Really looking forward to the WEC show Sunday night though, Faber vs. Pulver should be a classic!
I am boycotting that card. More interested in real fighters and the WEC card. That Kimbo crap is a clown show and can only hurt our sport.
ok here's my only issue with hating on Kimbo. He's doing what he has to do to feed his family. I cant hate on anyone who takes a negative and turns it into a positive. He grew up on the streets and instead of living a life of crime, which a man of his stature and aggression could have easily done, and instead focused himself on becoming a legit fighter. And its not like he's not trying to get more skilled.
We are supposed to admire him because he didn't become a killer or thief? Anyways...poor Clay Guida..they are giving him Danzig. I think the Fitch steam roller ends at GSP. that Huerta vs. Florian is gonna be a classic. I think Florian takes it on skill.

I don't have anything against him personally, its the hype surrounding him that I find absolutely ridiculous. Throw him in there with a top 25 fighter and see what happens.
I do sorry, I know where he's from. I dont dismiss a "little" accomplishment" like that. But I agree he's overhyped.
As much as I can't stand Sylvia, I think even he could probably take Kimbo. I would like to see that though. Instead we get to see Fedor demolish Sylvia.
Sylvia would easily defeat kimbo IMO. He isnot going to stand there and exchange in the middle of the ring with him and he has the reach to keep his distance. Kimbo would probably tire after 3 mintues and Sylvia would get him to the ground and GnP his way to a stoppage. JMO.
I don't think Danzig will crush him, he can definitely beat him though. Shoulda coulda woulda! Huerta is awesome!
i think him getting tired in 3 minutes is a stretch he has been training for years now, and with bas ruten for awhile....hes got alot better cardio then some say..... but sylvia wins that fight hands down imo
They are grooming Danzig and bringing him up gradually and Guida sets up for Danzig. I say Danzig by rear naked choke in round 2.
I dont, I think Guida knocks him out. Guida has just a many skills as Danzig and is a lot stronger IMO.
also Guida is very hard to submit. The guy never quits moving, and is like a slippery eel after round 1. I'd bet my Phinbucks....oops don't have those....that Guida wins in a decsion.
Not sure if I'd say "alot" stronger, Danzig is short but he's built pretty good. Guida is too wild sometimes and Danzig is not a good match up for him technique wise.
