Fedor does what he does best. First minute Arlovski was quick...Until he tried a jumping knee and got smashed like a pinata out the air. I think people still dont realize, Fedor hits HARD [EDIT] Re watched the fight. Then re watched the Arlovski - Rothwell fight and realized that Fedor is is a smart flacking dude. VS ROthwell when Arlovski smelled blood, he went ape sht crazy! He is like a shark smelling blood and started uloading on Rothwell. When they got in to a corner, he threw like 6 knees...What happened this fight? Fedor looked like he got hit few times..lured him to the corner..got hit again..and BAM. Flying goes Arlovski.
Fedor totally baited him into that last exchange. He fell against the ropes like he was in trouble. When Arlovski jumped in, Fedor just leans in and crushes him with an overhard right. I mean, Arlovski was in mid-air when it landed and out cold when he hit the ground. Arlovski looked like Chuck Liddell when he was on the ground. He landed about the same way, though he got up much faster. Matt Lindland......not so much.

re: the photo of Fedor... look below that at Josh Barnett. he doesn't exactly look like a workout warrior either in his weigh in photo. didn't seem to matter for either him or Fedor in the ring.
who ya got??? GSP or BJ Penn? i am going with GSP, even more so after watching that build up show spike's had on the last few weeks. BJ's training regimen doesn't impress me nearly as much, at least as they are portraying it. and his trash talking is bush league.
God I hate them both so much it sucks that one even has to win. I'll go with GSP. Because, like you said, BJ is a lazy slob the majority of the time. I cant wait for Alvez to beat the **** out of that frenchy.

Bc GSP took him down quite a few times in the next 2 rounds. After round 1, Penn got gassed/lazy and didn't do much of anything.
I think BJ should of taken the first fight (Even tho I was rooting for GSP) GSP looked tired, and looked like he took more damage over the course of the fight. He got alot of credit for takedowns...BJ is JJ guy, he has no problem with being on the ground. So I really think this one is a toss up. P.S. Im glad Diaz lost. just dont like him. Was impressed by Jones, he works on his conditioning a bit, learns how how to keep his hands up, in order not to get caught by a punch, and this guy could be very good very fast. This was my first time seeing him, not sure how good his chin is.
wow.....remember this name....JON JONES....that kid was impressive....he needs to learn to finish his fights....that spinning back elbow was incredible.....bonnar looked dumbfounded! that kid is 21.....randy couture was the HW champion in his 40s.....my 1 year old son could be 20 watching jon jones still fighting....thats unreal...
Machida won the fight his way again. He is a very smart fighter. I think that people underestimate his striking power. He has powerful hands.
If you dont know who is fighting, first round was very medicore. The last 30 seconds were probably the most exciting.

GSP is alot of things, but you cant call that man a clown. He is good. I think he is the best fighter in UFC. You may not like the guy, thats a different story. THere are fighters I dont lik,e but you still gotta respect the man.

I used to be a huge matt hughes fan (still am) and after he got manhandled by GSP, and how respectfull GSP was, pissed me off even more. Few weeks later after I cooled down, and watched GSP grow as a fighter, I realized that he is complete fighter. In and out of the cage. Holy jesus. Fedor was complimented by joe rogan....what the world is coming to? Lol.
I think he's full of himself. Do you remember all the crap he talked to Matt Hughes and when he got in the ring and all that drama? That was ridiculous and really changed my opinion of him forever. Before the first Penn fight he constantly talked about how he's never lost a round blah blah. He said a few things about Serra too if I remember correctly. Sure, I give the man credit bc he trains his *** off and is very good. But not the best in the UFC IMO. Silva is pretty obviously the most dominant guy ever. He's really beaten all kinds of challengers and done it all in extremely convincing fashion. Evans has put together quite the hitlist also and could be contending for best pound for pound if he keeps it up. I think if Thiago Alvez can beat GSP he's also immediately entered into that conversation. Alvez/GSP should be an amazing fight either way.

I guess its a matter of opinion. IMHO bottom line he is respectufull, and he wanted credit for what he has done. Penn called him out to begin with. But like I said, thats why this is a forum, and thats why we debate.
Anyone who needs to jump in the ring after someone elses victory and immediately talk **** loses a lot of respect in my book. GSP did things like that a few times. Penn's a huge dbag too. I can't stand him either.
