kimbo to fight ken shamrock at elite xc show october 4th......on cbs!!! sherdog.com/news/news/shamrock-gets-next-shot-at-slice-14185
wow.....Ken has lost his ever loving mind. Kimbo is going to do the same thing he did to Tank to him.
Ken is looking for a payday, and still has a little name recognition, so he will get it. Elite XC is looking for legitimacy, and brings in name like Shamrock. unfortunately with Shamrock's record of late, i don't think he helps Elite's cause much.
I dont know if anyone else caught it, but they updated Rampage's situation. I cant find the link but basically he has 6 criminal charges being filed against him and could face up to 3 years in jail. Yikes. The only good news is that it was proven that the woman who was involved in the chase who had a miscarriage was discovered to have had it for unrelated reasons.
i LOVE the notion of lesnar stepping in with a very dangerous striker...for ****s and giggles...why not? this could be an explosive affair.
i hate seeing Ken stepping back into the ring. he should just coach and instruct out of the lions den, and do seminars. maybe get an announcing gig. there's plenty of money to be made doing that kind of stuff. at his age, its like the last evan tanner fight...these guys are just a lot less coordinated and cant train the same as when they were younger.
shamrock will have a great shot cause of his experience and submission skills.......dunno if kimbo will smash him as easily as people think imo
couture back in ufc.....still heavy weight champ....and will defend his title against the very green/monstorous brock lesnar at ufc 91 sherdog.com/news/news/couture-back-in-ufc-fold-14261
i read that too and was coming in here to post. interesting matchup. interesting matchup. the past and present versus the (possible) future of the division in UFC?
So what's next for Rashad Evans? After a vicious KO of Lidell, does he get his shot at Forrest? Also, Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar - Nov. 15!!
yeah I think he deserves a shot at forrest I dunno anyone else ahead of him.....maybe franklin? he beat hammil in a lhw fight last night......forest/franklin would be fun to see imo!!
i think it has to be Rashad... Franklin is still not that far removed from getting destroyed twice by Andersen Silva. Evans has no such blemish on his record.
Machida is undefeated as well. His shot is probably coming next year. That said, I think The Spider would probably beat anybody in that division. Odd as it may sound, Forrest may have the best shot at beating him IMO, as he's putting together a well-rounded game. Division is loaded. Hopefully Spider comes up again and stays there.
Franklin is interesting. He's got 3 losses. But two were against Silva, who annihilates everybody. And the other was against Machida in 2003. Dana signed him for six more fights recently. So they have plans for him. Hopefully he can stay in the mix.
those loses are as middle weight.......rich can compete at 205...him vs forest would be a real good match up imho.....both are similar in a lot of phases.... but I also think rashad deserves a shot

Former UFC champ Tanner found dead FOX Sports on MSN - MMA/Boxing - Former UFC champ Tanner found dead Listening to the radio right now and Harvey from TMZ is saying theres more to this story. Why would you go out to the deep desert without any water??? He's thinking this guy was depressed. Sad news regardless
What? Who goes out in the middle of the desert without enough gas, a cell phone, (which may haven't worked anyways) enough water, I mean...come on...I could keep going....
yeah bro, little insensitive......who knows the full story yet....lets wait to bash the dead...just sayin bro
Wow the guy helps establish a real sport that you watch all the time and thats the respect you give him? God forbid it wasn't an emotionally sound pro wrestler.
he dissed you bad eric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you pro wrestling dweeb!!!!! BURRRNNNNNN!!!!
You guys are reading way too deep into this, I meant no disrespect to him at all. I was merely saying that he had to of been in a "unique" mind frame for this to have seemed like a logical thing for him to do. I know what he did for the sport and all of his accolades. For the record I would say the samething about Hulk Hogan, or any other wrestler who decided to venture out in 100-115 degree weather on a motorcycle. Its a comment towards his common sense not his legacy. Calm down uber nerds,,,,,
yeah right. you'd be crying and screaming "WHY" if this happened to The Disco Inferno. let alone Dean Malenko. We'd have to put you on suicide watch.
golddust...lol...wow....you guys are digging deep for these names man..... Any update on the topic at hand?
if it were the Man of 1000 holds, i would be on suicide watch too! Malenko is the fricking man! best cruiserweight ever IMHO.
