It’s clear that he’s not leaning away from UM as the article stipulates. He’s leaning toward UM. Again, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t commit to UM.

 

Someone help me out here. Have to Canes officially announced that Jedd Fisch is their new OC ?

 

LOL, well I sure hope he committs because they need a player like Chickillo. BTW, how would you like to have that name.

Yes. Official announcement was Thursday, and he’s already had a media conference call. He’s joining the team as soon as the Seahawks’ playoff run is done. So, Monday.

He can be called Chic-Fil-A for all I care, just so long as he plays well.

 

I was reading up on him and it's a pretty interesting life. He's never even played any type of organized football, and had open heart surgery at the age of twenty freaking six...

 

Chickillo is still considered a soft verbal to Miami. Basically means he's considered a commit to Miami but he wants to take other visits.

 

Btw, off topic, but the Canes defeated BC 72-71 for their 1st ACC win.

Now carry on with the sport that the Canes actually have a future in....

 

Looks like Matt Goudis (K) just committed...not confirmed though.

Holy mackeral, a coach trying to shore up the kicking game. Hopefully they always have a kicker and a punter and never try and make one player do both.

 

Kid has a boot. I don't remember what it felt like having touchbacks in the kicking game. I'm more use to our opponent starting on the 40 yard line.

Not to mention we have the best punter prospect coming in according to some as well.

 

Jedd Fisch, come on down.

 

Kevin Grooms commits via Twitter. I'd rather wait till it's officially announced from Carroll. He'll probably be in the secondary, but he just needs playing time because he's a playmaker.

Kevin Grooms is a huge get. CB is a position of need. I really feel like this class is going to shape up very nicely.

 

If they can get Dallas Crawford as well, then Golden is the ****ing man.

 

From everything I've heard, that's most likely going to happen.

 

According to Mike Bakas, Antonio Kinard (3 star LB) has committed...Michigan wanted him but he couldn't qualify.

Kinard is a good pickup. Very good pass rusher. If we somehow land Ray Drew to go with him and Chick, wow.

 

Well, from what I have read, Drew is pretty much Georgia bound. But Drew did say he was blown away by Golden so we'll see....

 

Dallas Crawford just committed.

 

Yea he's going to Georgia more than likely. Never know though.

 

Very talented CB. In ESPNU Top 150. Was commited to Michigan, much like Antonio Kinard.

Seahawks are trying to retain Jedd Fisch by making him a candidate for their now-vacant OC position.

 

Instead of waiting til National Signing Day (Feb 2nd) to announce his college of choice, Ray Drew is gonna announce it on January 28th.

 

I herd mention of this as well. Interesting to say the least.

Art Kehoe coming back?


Arthur Francis Kehoe III , the only man to earn all five UM national championship rings as a coach, was being interviewed in Mississippi on Thursday by coach Al Golden for the vacant offensive line job, according to a source close to UM.

Kehoe, 52, played two seasons for UM as a junior-college transfer and served as an assistant UM football coach for 25 years before he was fired Jan. 2, 2006 by former UM coach Larry Coker. Offensive line coach for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League the past two years, Kehoe is a member of the UM Sports Hall of fame.

Art Kehoe and Pat Ruel (also a former Cane) are my top 2 choices for OL coach. I'd be happy with either. Getting Kehoe would come as a surprise after the lawsuit, but crazier things have happened. Talking about former Canes, would love to get Don Soldinger back in some capacity as well.

 

First commit of the weekend is Denzel Perryman.

 

Cane lock for awhile now. Dudes a stud. Will be a major player for us, at one of our biggest positions of needs too. Need all the LB's we can get.

 

Kevin Nelson may be leaving UM....

Shame cuz I like how he would talk sh!t about UF.

 

He was just pissed UF didn't recruit him. Then he *****ed about not playing. I also heard some personal rumors about him but knocking some girls up but not really sure if that's true. Also he didn't even bother practicing with the team leading up to the bowl.

Perryman thinks Chickillo will reaffirm his commitment tomorrow(I hope) and that they have been pushing Watson the DT from Booker T. Washington to commit this weekend as well.

 

One of the Scout reporters thinks Miami gets at least 2 more commits tomorrow and possibly more.

 

Watson, Sousa possibly. Maybe Moore.
