70-3! Not a bad way to start the season, even if it was against a small school like FAMU. First game we had 3 Backs with 100+ total yards since 1987. Next up is FAU.
going to see your boys next week at Appy St and in Raleigh on Nov 19. Son is at App St and I'm a Wolfpack alumn. Looking forward to seeing the Canes and Kayaa.
The coastal seems pretty weak outside of the Canes and the Heels. I think it's going to come down to those two with who represents the Coastal in the ACC Championship. The Atlantic... good lord. who knows? We'll know more about Louisville this weekend. FSU, like Miami, gets everyone's A game.
Unfortunately most of the top 25 teams won and those who lost won't fall far. The good thing is we had a decisive win while some others didn't. I would like to see us at #21. We have a chance to move up as far as we want if we keep winning.
This game is setting up to be a perfect storm against the Canes. Too many things going in their favor. Clench mode should be engaged.
Hurricanes defense made it seem like they dominated the entire game, but there was always a few good plays followed up by one bad play they would give up to the Noles that made the difference
So many missed opportunities by Canes. The Kaaya INT on the first drive was a massive swing of momentum. His WR wasn't even close to open. How is this kid supposed to be a first round pick?
Canes played like dodoo, should have won that game, Damn Jimbo 7-0 against the Canes, Sick, should still be ranked in the top 15, Up next North Carolina.
That sucked. We went from #10 to unranked in 2 weeks. Obviously showed we didn't deserve to be that highly ranked. At the very least, I'm glad our defense didn't allow any points in the 2nd half, considering how much they were on the field in that game.
Another loss. Kayaa needs better protection, he was scrambling around all night and got sacked 8 times. I hope we do better against Notre Dame.
Those kinds of games are tough to lose no matter which team you are. To give up a 20 point lead and lose at home would have been tough for the Catholics, and it was just as bad for us to come all the way back and then lose the game by our qb getting sacked with time running out. Until that happened, we were moving the ball nicely down the field and closing in on tying the game for going into OT. Looks like another Mercy **** Bowl this year, if that. At the very least, maybe we can win one after 10 years of either losing them, or not going to one at all.
I've read several Bowl Projection articles that have us going to the Tax Slayer Bowl against an SEC team in Jacksonville, FL.
Russell Athletic Bowl, Canes vs # 16 West Virginia December 28 in Orlando, http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...owl-to-face-west-virginia-20161204-story.html
It doesn't sound like the West Virginia fans are too happy about playing an unranked team in a Bowl game, but that's life. They'll hate it even more if they get beat. It's been ten years since we've won or gone to a Bowl game, time to end that streak.
Grabbing some beers on the way home and watching in the Miami Man Cave....hoping for a victory and 9 wins!
Another year of Miami Hurricanes football is in the books, and it was nice to finish it off with a Bowl win for the first time in 10 years. T thought Richt did a great job getting us headed in the right direction, I hope it's enough to persuade Kayaa to stay for his Senior season.
Njoku going pro according to sources I saw on Twitter......Kayaa's body language after the game seemed this capped off his college career, we shall see. I agree with the announcers during the game, if Kayaa comes back, we're top 10 preseason for sure. GREAT WIN !!!! What the hell is going on?! Miami teams are winning games?! I don't know what to do with myself lol
