To be fair, this is the worst front-4 I can remember in Miami history, and probably the worst secondary I can remember in the last 20 years.
That may be true, but it is still a coaching mistake to be caught in cover zero by a mere shift in formation. That is elementary stuff.
They needed to check into a zone. This is defensive football 101. This is not rocket science.

Haven't been impressed with D'Onofrio. On the other hand, this isn't the same scheme they used at Temple, and they've admitted they haven't been able to do the things they want because of the players. I'm willing to give D'Onofrio another year, but if there isn't significant improvement next year, bye bye.

You know..the defensive staff has made several boneheaded moves this year...
the latest was getting caught in cover zero for that big 3rd down conversion that went for a million yards.
That is coaching.
I don't see the issue being in 0. D'Onofrio is a good coach.

He sure could use some better talent. The Cb's are so bad they have to keep them 7 yards off the LOS, and the Lb's and Safety freelance too much.
Part of it is coaching but without decent backups, his hands are tied.

I think it's time to admit that our safeties just aren't that good. Telemaque and especially Ray Ray, all hype, no substance, like most of the big time recruits Shannon recruited. Ray Ray has been awful this year. Put him at LB because he damn surue isn't a safety.

They would have gotten beat in zone too. The safeties are so bad in space.
“Come on, shake your body baby, do that conga!”
Mike Williams is getting a lot of playing time.
I think that says a lot about the CB talent we have. The dude was at Wake Forest last year.

It's about time to get Thomas Finnie a lot of playing time if you ask me. Dallas Crawford too.

I thought I read somewhere that they may experiment Crawford at Safety.

It doesn't go for a 76 yard td though.

They don't know what position they want him to play. I say they decide on something and play him. This is a throwaway season. Might as well use it to evaluate the young guys.

Is that Obama officiating this game? Looks and sounds exactly like him lmao.

1,000 yards for Miller.
Can't believe he's our first 1,000 yard rusher in 9 years.
Sooooo I had the pleasure of watching today's Dolphins game on the big screens at the stadium. Mike Dee was around as well, you know the CEO and the guy who came up with "Gaytor Day". Well, I decided to take a picture with him.

Shoulda punched him in his d***...
Headcoach material wouldn’t want to work somewhere they’re not trusted with actual football decisions.
