I'm not one to cry over injuries, but I don't know how this team is going to hold up for the rest of the season. I can't see this team running the table DESPITE being better than EVERY opponent from here on out.
There goes Jacory's ritual first quarter INT where as usual he just throws one up into double coverage... so sick and tired of it. I love the guy, but he's got to smarten up and know when to take his chances. It'll come with experience, though. Hopefully.

It's coaching. If your quarterback looks like a dumbass.... it is either one of two things: He is a dumbass. Or he is not coached well. Jacory Harris is a smart kid..he is FAR from a dumbass...he takes chances...but he is a SMART guy. he needs some coaching.
He takes FAR too many chances. This football team is an absolute joke right now, though. We might be able to "survive" against another bottom of the pile ACC team today, but UNC is going to crush us next week if we don't get it together. We've completely lost the swagger that was regained earlier in the season. How? I don't know. I refuse to use the injury excuse, although we're piling up.
Seriously... Clemson, Wake, and Virginia... these teams are GARBAGE. Yes I said Clemson is garbage. If we lose back to back home games to Clemson and Virginia after being ranked #10 in the BCS I am done with sports in general until 2010. All sports. Hopefully this is one of those slow starts that turns into a 45-17 type of game, but I don't know.
That 4th and 10... wow, Javaris was so open with so much green in front of him. I like the aggressiveness though.

I had no idea you could overturn a penalty with a review. Apologies to the POS ACC refs. Should be automatic though. The scrub took a QB's helmet off and kept going after the ball was dead.

If Jacory every goes down I'm very comfortable with the ability of Highsmith to hand the ball off. I mean wow, he is so poised dropping back handing the ball off. Almost as cool as Jacory. His technique is also amazing. Now can we see if he can throw the ball more than 3-5 times?
What a great win for Miami during Homecoming! It looked pretty tight in the first half, but our guys opened it up in the 2nd, playing some good football. Learned something new today. Anytime you invade the opening of a helmet on a qb, front, back or even the earholes, that's a facemask penalty, according to the play on J Harris today. That guy ripped it right off his head!. Anyways, I'm happy for the team, and as usual, it was a great day to be a Miami Hurricane!
Meanwhile with so many losses from teams ahead of us today, we should jump into the 12-15 range in the polls tomorrow.
I think the loss to Clemson completely crushed my soul. I'm still not over it, still have a hard time getting excited. Today was great, but I still feel completely broken.
Miami is getting new uniforms yet again. They are getting the Nike designs that made FSU's uniform I believe. Word is that the Canes will wear them for 4 years and then I'm guessing they become an alternate.
#12 AP. We're moving ahead of a ton of teams that were targeted for potential at large BCS bids. This is good. If we win out, we're almost guaranteed to finish in the 5-8 range. I don't see GT losing, so this is a major plus for us... getting some help elsewhere. Looking like we've got a REAL shot at an at large BCS bid now. Don't mean to think ahead -- just saying. I don't know how the hell we're going to win up in North Carolina honestly.
