I just want to figure out why we are so bad in the second quarter on offense.

If we only played first quarters we'd be the best team in the country apparently. Considering everything that could have been a lot better but it also could have been a LOT worse.

4 takeaways and not a single point scored off them. Drops all over the place. Missed throws that should of been TD's. Just no idea what the hell I'm watching anymore.

 

On the positive side....hey four turnovers is pretty impressive.

 

And the running game is an abortion right now. We need to get that going to get our offense back on track. As good as Morris has been, we really can't rely on him throwing 70 passes...

 

Morris struggled in the 2nd obviously, but the running game has not helped out at all.

 

I think it has more to do with NC State than us though. NC State is gashing our ****ty defense, especially on the ground. Those turnovers are going to be NC State touchdowns in the 2nd half if we don't get our **** together.

 

Throw Duke Johnson a screen. Split him out and run him on a slant....just get him the ball in space somehow where he can make a 1-1 play instead of trying to avoid an entire swarming defense.

 

No pass rush and young Db's.....

Both special teams units allow the other offense the opportunity to score with penalties. Fitting.
