lets see.. I'ma Cane, first and foremost. Had a family member teaching there continuously since 1949. I am a Florida boy.. love my state, so when ever the U or gators play one of those teams with a state name in them I root for us. I am a Navy fan too.. beat Army and Air Force! Oddly, I like Iowa, the Golden Buffs and because I like Paul Johnson, GT too. Thought it was great GT beat flubberneck tonight over and above it being good for the U. I don't care for penn state but love Jopa. I hate, loath and spit upon fsu but kinna like bobby bowden.. and Seminole Indians.. even know the guy that sews Osceola's get up. I hate satan and alabama, the buckeyes, the hiding irish and meeshigan. Loath u$c, the huskers, sooners, west by gawd virginia, and syracus. Like Rutgers.. Sciano was U, and Hawaii but liked them better under June I know I'm yakkin but I'm pretty content tonight. My belly is full of tacos, the canes are winning, the Dolphins beat the hated jests, no big aches or pains and velvet cake awaits for desert. ahhhh wow, the touchdown drive looked easy
Amen brother. And my god, this defense makes me worry. Very suspect in pass coverage with all the talent in the secondary it's inexcusable.
I think that's fudged. I would say he's probably about 205 max. He came to the U at 202 and he looks no heavier. They are young, I'm not too concerned about it. You've got a first year cornerback in Sam Shields, a very good cornerback in Brandon Harris, an undisciplined Randy Phillips and Vaughn Telemaque is finally playing but is still learning on the job. Wait until we get Prince Kent and others.
I like Philips, but can't wait til he leaves. Telemaque and Armstrong are going to be a great safety duo. But yea, the talent is there, and I'm sure they'll play better with time, but the pass coverage is very suspect at the moment but it shouldn't be too much of a setback the rest of this season I hope.
I think what they have to do is figure out a way to get DeMarcus Van Dyke playing at a higher level. He's been a great disappointment. Telemaque and Armstrong may be both in the box players but admittedly, I haven't seen a lot of Armstrong in coverage.
This is disappointing. Miami sure isn't doing anything to help make a case for them come tomorrow when the rankings come out.
FWIW, I despise it when Jacory Harris plays like this, he is at his best running the offense and not just flinging the ball downfield. He's a good Qb, not just a thrower.
I love Harris, he's established himself as a damn good passer. But he doesn't use his athleticism nearly enough. Far too often he just slings it up field when he should pick up a few yards on the scramble.
UCF dline is eating our Oline's lunch...even the oreo cookies...and drinking the juicy juice...we cannot run the ball at all right now.
The game has been over a while now. Don't look at the score, UCF had no chance coming out of halftime. We've dominated the game. Sacks and the botched punt snap are the reason for the rushing yardage. Remember in the NCAA sacks count against team rushing yards unlike the NFL.
Yeah, he could have gotten the ball down the field a bit further with some passes, but just ate up the clock running the ball. And then we could have gotten a field goal with 20 seconds to go.
Yeah, I'm thinking if we take away their run game and are disciplined, we should win this. Besides, we get back everyone really. Everyone but Adewale Ojomo is healthy for this game.
